Bill Magnuson serves on the Board of Directors at Netography. He is co-founder and CEO at Braze (formerly Appboy), a customer engagement platform that forms strong bonds between people and the brands they love. He is also the previous CTO at Braze, managing the company's product and engineering divisions. Prior to Braze, Magnuson was a software engineer with Google working on App Inventor for Android. He later joined Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund. In 2011, he and fellow Braze Co-Founder Jon Hyman won the TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon, cementing a relationship that would lead to Braze’s creation. Bill has a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Engineering in Computer Science from MIT.

Jon leads the charge on building technical systems and infrastructure. He's a Harvard alum who, in a past life, played guitar in a heavy metal band.

Winkles has nearly 20 years of experience in finance leadership roles. She joins Braze after serving as the Chief of Staff to the CFO at leading professional services company Cognizant. Prior to Cognizant, Winkles spent 18 years at Morgan Stanley where she worked across investment banking and equity research, and, following the financial crisis, established and led new finance teams to support strategic business decisions in the context of evolving global regulatory landscapes.

In this role, Mr. Parrish oversees all aspects of our Membership program, manages our various marketing initiatives (e.g., direct, e-mail, community), and executes programs to retain and grow our customers’ loyalty to the Barnes & Noble brands. Mr. Parrish is a 20-year veteran of e-commerce and has been on the cutting edge of e-marketing since its inception, building large, direct marketing-driven e-commerce sites and online communities, as well as executing multi-channel retailing strategies. Before joining Barnes & Noble, he held senior marketing and management roles at Jigsaw (acquired by Salesforce.com), Capcom Entertainment, where he helped launch the online entertainment business; Palm Inc., where he helped initiate the e-commerce business; and Egghead.com (acquired by Amazon). Mr. Parrish has an MBA from UCLA and an engineering degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
