A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BREAKFAST ATTENDANT:

Breakfast Attendants are vital to the success of the hotel. Breakfast attendants typically start their day at 6am when they arrive to start preparing the breakfast. We will train you on the proper and most efficient manner to heat and serve the breakfast. They typically work by themselves but are part of the greater hotel team.

This is where you would come in. We need a kind, friendly, smiling face to join our team to ensure our guests are served a hot, clean and organized breakfast to start their day of right.

BREAKFAST ATTENDANT JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience previous hotel experience IS NOT required, but we do need you to have experience and willingness to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Core to your experience should be centered around dependability, teamwork and meeting operational goals.
• Resilience -willingness to take on an equal workload after an initial training period.
• Respect - ability to listen and learn from the department manager, along with other hotel team leaders. Understanding that our guests expect a well stocked, clean, hot breakfast served in a friendly and engaging manner.
• Readiness - Ready to take on each new day with any challenges that may come up. The hotel business is different every day and is what keeps it interesting.

Some Key Areas of Responsibilities include:


Set breakfast and hospitality layout to meet hotel requirements. Greet guest and periodically check with guest for any additional service that may be needed. Replenish bar and bus tables. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and sanitation. Ensure proper storage of all unused food. Keep proper inventory of food and supplies.


Requirements:


Ability to handle guest complaints. Effective with time management skills. Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude. Must be a team player. Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.

Hotel Breakfast Attendant 2-3 days a week

Are you a food service professional with a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to guests? You might be just what we're looking for in our next breakfast attendant. Our busy hotel is looking for a detail-oriented person to set up and take down our breakfast buffet, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are always available. You'll also need to walk throughout the dining area refilling coffee and beverages and cleaning up used plates and utensils. Compensation:

$13.75 + Bonuses + Tips

Responsibilities:

• Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours
• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
• Assist guests with any questions or concerns that they may have in a prompt and friendly manner
• Sanitize and ensure cleanliness of all buffet bar areas, including tables and chairs, and empty trash as needed
• Disinfect and clean service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment following health and safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
• Experience working in food service is preferred
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills with diners and coworkers

Best Western Plus Riverfront is located on the banks of the Missouri River.
