The Science Internship is a part-time and seasonal position during the fall and spring school semesters that provide training opportunities for New York City students. Successful interns may reapply for subsequent seasons contingent on job performance and funding. The science intern gains skills and professional development related to botanical research and biodiversity collections and will work with an NYBG mentor on a research, collections, or library project. Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Research areas may include but are not limited to plant diversity, museum curation, molecular biology, systematics, taxonomy, morphology, development, and/or bioinformatics.
