Bremer Bank company history timeline

1943

In 1943, Otto created Bremer Bank as a bank holding company to consolidate his stake in the community banks, giving the banks the advantage of acting as a group.

1949

The ownership of the Otto Bremer Company was transferred to the foundation in 1949.

1969

To begin with, the Bremer Foundation had been unable to find a solution to the 1969 tax law dilemma, and the deadline was looming.

1973
