Brenau’s culture of trusting its people to do their jobs without micromanaging them, flexible scheduling, and a friendly and supportive internal culture are what keep people employed.

What do you like best about Brenau University's CEO and the leadership team?

Brenau’s leadership team has experienced a lot of attention. The new President is in his early stages, but has a long history with the university.

How would you improve Brenau University's culture?

Refocus on the people who are the culture of the university. Nonprofit schools are not high paying, faculty and staff work there in Nonprofits for the satisfaction of supporting students, and the low key culture. When the employees are treated as less educated and micromanaged the culture deteriorates and attrition rises.

How did you prepare for the Brenau University interview?

Studying the company’s public profiles/websites, reviewing their annual reports, and knowing the key words of their job description are essential to preparing for an interview.
