A Physical Therapist (PT) is a healthcare professional who evaluates, diagnoses, and treats individuals with physical impairments or disabilities. Physical therapists help patients restore mobility, manage pain, and improve their quality of life through targeted exercises, manual therapies, and specialized techniques. They work with individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or illness, providing rehabilitation and preventative care to promote physical health and function. Key Responsibilities: Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct initial patient evaluations to assess their physical abilities, range of motion, strength, coordination, and overall mobility. Review medical history and diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, MRIs) to understand the patient's condition. Establish baseline data regarding a patient's physical capabilities to create a tailored treatment plan. Developing Treatment Plans: Develop personalized treatment plans based on the patient's condition, goals, and progress. Identify short- and long-term rehabilitation goals, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop a comprehensive treatment approach, including recommendations for surgery or medication, if necessary. Providing Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various physical therapy interventions, such as strengthening exercises, range of motion exercises, balance training, manual therapy, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation). Educate patients about proper posture, movement techniques, and body mechanics to prevent future injury. Provide guidance and support to patients performing exercises both in the clinic and at home to ensure they are doing them correctly. Patient Education and Support: Educate patients on the importance of following their prescribed physical therapy regimen and explain how therapy will aid in recovery. Teach patients strategies to manage pain and promote physical wellness through techniques like stretching, strengthening exercises, and ergonomic modifications. Offer guidance on lifestyle changes that may improve function, such as weight management, stress reduction, or joint protection techniques. Ensuring all equipment, tools and supplies are properly stored before leaving areas on breaks, mealtimes, and end of workday. Maintenance work areas are to be free of hazardous conditions (i.e. grease, oil spills, excess equipment and supplies, unsupervised extension cords, etc.) Follow established fire and safety programs and conducting monthly firedrills, as well as, have knowledge of proper operation and re-setting of alarms and sprinkling systems. Job Description Director of Nursing (DON) Full Time ***Starting at $87,000/year Based on experience*** Department: Health Care Center We seek caring team members willing and able to commit to Our Values: Compassion, Attitude of Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Nurturing and Giving. The Director of Nursing supports our mission and values by planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of our 79 bed Skilled & Long Term Nursing Center to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. The Director of Nursing primary responsibilities will include: Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility. Serve on, and participates in weekly leadership meeting, daily utilization review, and QAPI meetings (falls, skin, weight, infection control etc.). Determines the staffing needs of the nursing department with the support of the Assistant Director of Nursing and the Staff Scheduler. Participates as needed in the selection of residents for admission to the facility. Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling in-service training classes that provide instructions on "how to do the job," and ensure a well-educated nursing service department. Serves and/or delegates as the facility's Infection Control Designee pursuant to the provisions of its Infection Control Program. Recommend to the Administrator the equipment and supply needs of the department. Participate in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident. Keep abreast of economic conditions/situations, and recommend to the Administrator adjustments in nursing services that ensure the continued ability to provide quality care. What is required in this position? Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university. The Catering Attendant & Server supports our mission and values by assisting in the successful operation of venue and catered events. The Catering Attendant & Server primary responsibilities will include: Communicate clearly, quickly and politely with customers and co-workers to ensure a successful event. Be pleasant and alert to customers' needs. Work as a "team" to ensure constant and consistent quality, service, cleanliness and value to each customer. Prepare products quickly and accurately, while following all preparation, health and safety standards and guidelines. Assemble and deliver food and beverages to customers quickly and efficiently. Operate and maintain food/drink/treat related equipment properly and safely. Complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of venue & catered events. Stock and execute proper rotation of products. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar and dining area including tables, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas. Set up tables, chairs, linens, food displays, following guidelines provided by Bistro Supervisor Bus Tables, wash dishes, shine silver, fold napkins as needed. Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to the supervisor. Inform immediate supervisor promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisor. What is required in this position? Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Food service experience preferred. The LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse's primary responsibilities include: Maintains the standards of nursing care and implements the policies and procedures of the facilities nursing department including skin grids and treatments, preventative skin plans, preventative fall plans, incident reports and admission paperwork. Attends team care conferences as needed. Provides oral instructions to nursing assistants. Assesses residents and records all pertinent information in resident's records. Document administration of medications according to facility policies and procedures. Functions as team leader and supervisor. Supplies and interprets information, supports decisions, and facilitates communications with residents and their families, and nursing assistants and support staff. Assures that resident's call lights are answered. Other duties as assigned. What do I need for this role? A current/valid LPN license in Ohio required.
