Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures the quality and safe preparation of medications to assigned patients. Dispense medications and provide direct oversight for pharmacy technicians. Assist with medication reconciliation, ensuring proper documentation in patient electronic medical records (EMR). Provide drug information and counseling to patients and healthcare providers. Screens medication orders for accuracy, contraindications and drug interactions. Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, including 340B program requirements. Collaborate with providers on medication management Handles, orders and maintains an adequate drug / medication supply Perform additional pharmacy-related tasks as directed.
