Your Key Responsibilities, but not limited to
* Operating construction tools and/or small equipment

* Basic Survey Knowledge- Trimble and laser level knowledge, preferred not mandatory

What you'll do
Support Leads with demo, layout, measuring, cutting, fastening, and finish work
Assist with frameless/framed cabinet installs, trim, hardware, and basic punch items
Perform drywall patching/finishing; basic plumbing/electrical under supervision
Handle site protection, daily cleanup, tool/material organization
Document progress (photos, notes) and communicate clearly with Leads/designers
Follow safety procedures; keep occupied-home sites clean and respectful
Must-have experience (filters out true beginners)
1-3+ years in residential carpentry/remodeling (recent, hands-on a MUST)
Comfortable with core tools (saws, drills, nailers) and accurate measuring/layout
Demonstrated finish aptitude (tight cuts, clean miters, careful scribing)
On-time, reliable, coachable, and team-oriented
Communicates clearly; cleanliness and safety are non-negotiable
Nice to have
Exposure to frameless cabinetry, laser layout, cabinet leveling/clips
Basic drywall finishing, flooring installs, and hardware setting
Familiar with using mobile apps for plans/photos/punch

Requirements
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs as needed; bend, climb, and stand for extended periods

High school diploma or equivalent
Background/reference check; authorized to work in the U.S.
Willing to participate in ongoing training

Job Description
Northern HammerWorks is currently hiring for a full-time Residential Framing Carpenter to provide rough framing services for our residential remodeling projects in the Avon Lake, OH area. This carpentry position typically works Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM - 4 PM. We pay our Residential Framing Carpenters a competitive wage of $15 - $30 per hour, depending on experience.
