The Project Engineer is responsible for all plans and specifications, development of tracking logs, shop drawings, RFIs, POs, proposals, RFQs and other job specific documentation. They will also maintain cost tracking databases, establish project scopes and bid set specs and solicit bids for all trades. PE will also monitor any scope changes for compliance and pricing, process all field change orders, RFPs and RFIs. As part of Close-out will track checklist, collect all operations manuals and prepare and submit as-built drawings. Auditing must include a cross check of pricing with contract provided project estimates, estimating guides and any available internal resources.
