GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE
The Elite Stylist is responsible for engaging with guests, consulting with them on their hair care needs and recommending products and services. The Elite Stylist delivers quality professional services with an emphasis on the guest's total look. They support the Experience Manager (EM) and Assistant Services Manager (ASM) and focus on performance (service sales, and productivity), people (guest service), and process (operating procedures and compliance standards). This position requires a passion for the beauty industry, exceptional guest service, and the aptitude to learn and communicate product knowledge.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)
The Elite Stylist is a champion of Ulta Beauty's mission, vision, and values, and should demonstrate them skillfully and consistently by performing the following duties and responsibilities of the position (as well as all other projects/duties as assigned):
Performance
Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
Meet or exceed sales goal of $1900 average weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services by delivering exceptional guest service and contribute to meeting or exceeding the store's goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty.
Perform product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
Support the execution of in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives that deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
Take the initiative to stay informed regarding new and existing industry trends, products, and services during work time, and be knowledgeable about the ingredients and benefits of these trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
People
Develop guest relationships through consultations and appropriate retail and service recommendations.
Serve all guests, including walk-in guests, in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop a partnership with skin therapists and the retail team to provide a total-store and well- rounded guest experience.
Establish professional peer and brand partner relationships that foster a shared interest in collaboratively delivering exceptional guest service.
Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app, with guests in the salon and salesfloor.
Attend mandatory trainings and meetings to enable continuous professional development.
Process
Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures before, during, and after services; always ensure compliance with state board guidelines.
Follow established service protocols to ensure a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
Utilize appropriate booking and clientele systems to book guests for return services and for events.
Communicate any supply needs to the Experience Manager, ensuring guest readiness at all times.
Maintain outstanding store operational standards, including cleanliness of the salon, salesfloor, restrooms, backroom, break area, and any additional assigned area.
Adhere to the Ulta Beauty dress code.
Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
Execute other operational tasks as directed.

Job Summary
The Manager Quality Trauma Surgery Program provides leadership and operational support for the St. Vincent's Medical Center (SVMC) Trauma Program's (TP) development, implementation, and assessment to ensure an organized, effective, and efficient quality-focused, approach to providing high-quality trauma care. This position provides multiple services to include the coordination of TP initiatives between Trauma Program leaders, faculty, and HHC facilities, which includes clinical, educational, and research initiative collaboration and information sharing as relevant.
This position's continuum of involvement spans departmental, inter-hospital, system, community, state, and national interventions. In addition, this role involves frequent interaction and collaboration with a variety of stakeholders across the HHC System and non-HHC facilities at a variety of professional and clinical levels with an emphasis on high-quality customer service.
This position reports to Director of Clinical Operations, Inpatient Surgery with a substantial dyad of accountability to the Trauma Program Medical Director.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
1. Promotes and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the trauma program to achieve its strategic vision for an integrated system. Establishes collaborative partnerships with all relevant parties characterized by vision, leadership and communication. Oversee and manages Trauma Quality Performance Team consisting of a Performance Improvement Nurse, Trauma Registrars, and Injury Prevention Coordinator. Acts as a departmental representative/collaborator with all Injury Prevention Center initiatives.
2. Champions and leads quality performance improvement/evaluation and patient safety efforts that ensure compliance with hospital/department rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Collaborates with other Quality and Safety colleagues/programs to inform planning at the SVMC hospital and System level. Coordinates and manages standing TP meetings, M&Ms, and multi-disciplinary M&M and PIP meetings.
3. Provides leadership in the design and implementation of a systematic process for monitoring, evaluating and improving the quality and effectiveness of trauma patient care. Identifies quality of care issues and brings to closure to ensure quality patient care. Ensures process includes data abstraction and verification, query design, statistical analysis, trending and reporting, to develop data sets into useful information to develop strategies for achieving improved outcomes.
4. Collaborate with and/or supervises appropriate personnel to implement, maintain and administer quality trauma databases and files according to QA protocols, HIPPA standards and legal/risk management laws. Reviews and communicates data to appropriate staff members, regulatory agencies and the national trauma registry to ensure accurate risk-adjusted benchmarking.
5. Develops and implements outcome standards, credentialing standards, policies and procedures and clinical and system process pathways in collaboration with system participants. Provides required feedback to team members in quality improvement committees, health care teams and work group meetings. Works collaboratively with managers, educators, staff and affiliated institutions to coordinate quality improvement and development efforts system wide.
6. Delivers continuous quality improvement development initiatives for providers and staff to forward the mission of the department. Collaborates, develops and supports risk prevention and peer review policy.
7. Identifies and participates in areas for allied health and community education and prevention programs. Participates and collaborates with the Injury Prevention Coordinator.
8. Facilitate problem solving throughout the continuum of care with focus on cost awareness and concern for cost position in system activities. Participates in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as relevant/appropriate.
9. Participate in legislative and professional forums related to trauma/surgery care in order to influence public policy and advocate for the needs of patients. Coordinates and collaborates on educational activities in a high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, effectiveness and standards to achieve the mission of the healthcare system.
Qualifications
Licensure, Certification, Registration
· Registered Nurse, Licensed in Connecticut. APRNs and PAs Licensed in CT also applicable
Education
· BS in Nursing required.
· Healthcare Quality and Safety related advanced training or Certificate(s) preferred.
· Master's degree in nursing or related field, or evidence of pursuing on a continuing basis with degree completion within 2 years of job acceptance preferred.
Experience
· Minimum Five (5) years of clinical experience in required areas such trauma care, emergency care, critical care and surgery.
· Trauma Experience or prior/current TPM experience.
· Experience in managing a healthcare related quality and safety program that includes quality management, peer review and program development.
· Minimum of 2 years documented experience leading and building a multi-disciplinary performance improvement team and program with demonstrated successful outcomes preferred.
· Evidence of past Scientific Journal Peer-Reviewed Publication preferred.

Summary:

Job Summary:
The Trauma Quality Performance Improvement Patient Safety (PIPS) Nurse is responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality care for the trauma patient. The PIPS nurse works under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager and the Trauma Medical Director and collaborates with leadership teams to support the trauma system. The PIPS nurse helps to coordinate all aspects of trauma care including identifying, developing and implementing standards of care through performance improvements processes and is accountable for assessing the effectiveness of the standards of care.
Responsibilities:
· Performs primary review on all defined trauma patients for performance improvement tracking across the continuum of care.
· Prepares and presents select cases for secondary review clearly and concisely with all relevant clinical information and opportunities for improvement.
· Monitors and evaluates the care for the trauma patients concurrently and retrospectively through issue identification, primary, secondary, and tertiary reviews as well as multidisciplinary reviews.
· Assists in identifying opportunities related to the care of the trauma patient, designs and monitors indicators for the continuous quality improvement processes, assures timely evaluation and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of care to the trauma patient in an organized format that supports loop closure.
· Works collaboratively with members of the trauma program to monitor the process and outcomes of patient care to trauma patient throughout the continuum. Ensures quality care is being provided through monitoring and tracking and using the information to improve the knowledge and skill of trauma care providers and promote performance improvement and patient safety within an established institution structure.
· Participants in the preparation for all site visits and/or accreditations to ensure maintenance of requirements established by the State and the American College of Surgeons.
· Assists in ensuring data abstraction and entry into the trauma registry database is accurate. Provides coordination and facilitation of data collection, analysis, trending and benchmarking of data and outcomes (NTDB, TQIP, etc.) using appropriate registries. Assists with the Registry to facilitate performance improvement activities.
· Attends trauma related performance improvement and morbidity and mortality meetings on a regular basis.
· Manages professional growth and development by participating in trauma related educational opportunities, committees and projects at the local, state and national level.
· Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Education:
· Bachelor's degree in nursing. Master's degree in nursing, Business or Health Administration preferred.
· 2-years of experience in a critical care unit or emergency department setting. 5-years of experience in a critical care unit or emergency department setting; 2 years supervisory or project management experience preferred.
Licensure, Certification, Registration:
· RN, BLS and ACLS certification.
· Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)/Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) preferred.
Work Experience:
· Basic computer knowledge to enter/retrieve data for reporting. Ability to work with an electronic medical record (EMR) and trauma registry software for data extraction and input.
· Strong ability to monitor outcomes, abstract data and implement change initiatives based on findings.
· Must be organized and possess time management skills to work independently.
· Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions and effectively communicate information.
· Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with employees, departments, physicians, community partners, patients and family members.

Information Technology Support Specialist

The Service Desk Analyst serves as a frontline technical resource, providing prompt, professional, and customer-focused support to clients across a variety of environments. This role is responsible for handling Tier 1-2 incidents and requests, troubleshooting end-user issues, escalating complex problems, and ensuring exceptional service delivery on behalf of the MSP.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for client technical issues via phone, email, and ticketing system.
Provide Tier 1-2 troubleshooting and resolution for Windows OS, mac OS, O365, desktop hardware, printers, networking, mobile devices, and common business applications.
Manage and triage incoming tickets; ensure timely updates, documentation, and closure in accordance with SLAs.
Perform user account administration (Active Directory, Azure AD, O365), password resets, access provisioning, and group policy support.
Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, peripherals, and standard MSP toolsets (RMM, AV, backup, monitoring).
Follow escalation procedures and collaborate with senior engineers when issues require advanced expertise.
Participate in onboarding/offboarding tasks and workstation deployments.
Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
Deliver excellent customer service with strong communication, professionalism, and follow-through.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and service quality.
Required Skills & Experience:
1-3+ years of service desk or IT support experience, ideally within an MSP environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, O365 administration, basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN), and hardware/software troubleshooting.
Experience with RMM/PSA tools, remote support platforms, and ticketing systems.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange Online, MFA, and basic security practices.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-focused support setting.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
