Pros of working at Bridgestone

good money, lots of time off

Cons of working at Bridgestone

company is in the middle of upper mgmt ploys and lower mgmt has no idea of the next step or are told to lie about it. Cutting shifts and hours to starve out employees to get them to quit before downsizing and layoffs. Corporation is importing Chinese tires through a tariff loophole and costing American jobs

Bridgestone benefits

Every other weekend is a 3 day weekend

What do you like best about Bridgestone's CEO and the leadership team?

Nothing, actually consider them to liars on everything that they say

How would you improve Bridgestone's culture?

I would remind the management that once they have finished reducing the number of employees the need for mgt will be reduced and they will be the next to get laid off.

How did you prepare for the Bridgestone interview?

I took a test

How does your compensation at Bridgestone compare to the industry average?

I think the compensation is at or above industry average but that is entirely due the United Steel Workers fighting for the increases and benefits. There would have been significant cuts if the union had not been there to fight for our rights.

What's the diversity at Bridgestone like?

The representation of diverse demographics within the organization is adequate.

What brings you the most joy at Bridgestone?

The most fulfilling part of my job was the personal challenge each day to perform better than the previous day
