Marcomm Coordinator Co-Op
Co-Coordinator Job in Union, NY
This position is responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by completing tasks set forth by the Marketing Department and also contributing to the needs of the Collaboration Innovation Center.
Market Research is a significant part of the marketing role. Market research can include determine growth rates and benefits/risks of potential markets. Research target customers in the markets including contacts for sales to call on.
Competitor analysis - analyze products, strategies, and competitor websites. Report out on key findings. Analyze and compile key competitor pricing.
Web/Digital Work - work to build digital tools for both our externally-facing website or internally facing web tools.
Asset / Collateral Organization and upkeep on internal intranet
Assist co-workers in navigating internal collateral library
All other duties as assigned
Education - accepting degrees in Marketing, Communications, or Business
Experience - entry level co-op
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook email and calendar.
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients. Including drafting reports, presentations and other documents.
Shows independent and self-discretion. Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/Premiere/InDesign a plus. Experience with Canva or equivalent software a plus.
