Other duties may be assigned. Customer Communication & Support Acts as a point of contact internally and externally for current customers. Supports resolution of customer concerns related to delivery schedules, material availability, order status, and part shortages. Escalates complex or high-impact issues to senior staff or management as needed, ensuring timely and accurate communication. Communicate effectively across departments to identify and resolve shortages, delays, and customer service issues. Purchasing Create and process purchase orders for production and indirect materials under supervision. Follow up on order acknowledgments, lead times, and confirmations. Support supplier onboarding and compliance documentation with the Quality team. Assist in processing defective material returns (RTVs) and resolving invoice discrepancies. Planning Review customer specifications, drawings, and purchase orders to confirm manufacturability and documentation completeness. Generates accurate job routing and work center planning data under guidance. Estimating Support Participate in gathering data for RFQs by working cross-functionally with quality and production.
