Summary: The BehaviorAnalyst oversees the behavioral needs of individuals in Bridgewell Day Services. The BA works with staff within the Day Habilitation program in the assessment of behavioral needs, and in the development and implementation of behavior management plans that meet the regulatory requirements of funding and licensing bodies.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (40 hours)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in clinical team meetings at assigned program sites. For assigned day program sites this includes working in conjunction with the Program Manager to prepare and lead the clinical meeting.
Work collaboratively with program team members/staff to assess, develop, implement, monitor, and revise data collection systems, behavior support strategies/plans, and day habilitation support plan objectives and strategies.
Complete documentation related to all aspects of services provided and ensure that all relevant records are maintained with individual electronic records.
Participate in the completion of the behavioral section of the Service Needs Assessments in conjunction with the Program Manager.
Provide training to staff on the implementation of individual-specific behavior support strategies, data collection, and broader topics related to managing behavioral, social, or personal problems of individuals served.
Assist staff or others in locating and obtaining needed or related resources for individuals.
Participate as part of the multidisciplinary team for review of client charts.
Participate in meetings with DDS, interdisciplinary teams, and relevant supervisor groups within the agency regarding behavior support.
Participate in the referral assessment and transition planning process.
Provide performance feedback related to behavioral support competencies to the Program /Residential Managers to aid in the evaluation of program staff.
Participate in the larger professional, scientific, and community systems to contribute to the advancement of the field of ABA and effective service delivery (i.e.: attending/presenting at conferences, staying current on literature, publication, and supervision of interns).
Provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) working within assigned programs.
Assist in managing assigned day program sites in the absence of the Program Manager.

Required Education/Experience:
Master's degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, or related field.
Must have had at least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those who are dually diagnosed (MR/DD and psychiatric disabilities).
BCBA required.

These services may include non- medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child daycare centers and schools, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting military personnel and their family members. ARC CYB counselors may be assigned to DoDEA schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for ARC role in backing up a school position. CYB counselors may also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. We serve pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, as well as adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Current shifts available for Full-Time & Part-Time:
Days: 7:30a-3pm
Evenings: 3pm-11:30p
Nights 11p-7:30a
Rates between $18.00 - $23.00/hr (depending on experience and education)
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety and provide excellent customer services.
* Ensure the well-being of patients and provide a positive, supportive and structured environment.
* Responsible for conducting safety checks and ensuring that supervision is conducted at 15 minute intervals, as noted in special precautions, or in accordance with individualized supervision guidelines as needed.
* Document timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in patient's medical record.
* Assist in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for patients, significant others and staff.
* Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.
* May oversee or assist patients with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, meals, snacks, hydration and changing bed linens.
* May obtain patient's vital signs, height and weight as assigned and document in patient record.
* Facilitate patient educational-rehabilitative groups which cover a variety of topics including social skills, coping skills, anger management and independent living skills.
* Engage patients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals.
* Complete and maintain required documentation. Assist with follow-up and paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place in the facility.
* May provide transportation for patient or coordinate transportation with appropriate staff member.
* Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
* Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
* CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
* First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient's recovery.
Co-facilitate assigned group or family sessions as needed.
Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents is completed timely and in a clear, concise manner.
Prepare individual treatment plans for each assigned patient.
Initial assessments as well as follow up assessments.
Evaluate patient needs and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.
May plan for aftercare for assigned patients.
Provide crisis intervention to patients, as needed.
Provide case management duties for patients, ensuring individualized quality care as needed.
Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients, as needed.
Compensation for roles at Brockton CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Brockton CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts as set forth below.

Qualifications
Required Education:
Master's Degree in a relevant field is required, and one of the following credentials: CAC, CAS, CADC, CRC, LADC I, LADC II, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
Degree obtained must be in psychology, social work, or related health services field from an accredited college or university.
Your Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities.
Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
Experience conducting individual and group counseling sessions focused on substance use recovery.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention techniques.
Documentation experience, including maintaining clinical notes, treatment plans, and progress updates in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Fall River Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Fall River, MA, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers-the nation's leader in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for individuals seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. We provide a continuum of care that includes Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and mobile treatment units. Your Job as a Substance Use Counselor:
The Substance Use Counselor is instrumental in our patient's treatment and recovery from opioid use disorder. Substance Use Counselors provide high quality, compassionate care through various mediums which include both individual and group counseling sessions.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide high quality, compassionate guidance in both individual and group counseling sessions.
Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient's recovery.
Co-facilitate assigned group or family sessions as needed.
Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents is completed timely and in a clear, concise manner.
Prepare individual treatment plans for each assigned patient.
Initial assessments as well as follow up assessments.
Evaluate patient needs and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.
May plan for aftercare for assigned patients.
Provide crisis intervention to patients, as needed.
Provide case management duties for patients, ensuring individualized quality care as needed.
Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients, as needed.
Compensation for roles at Fall River CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Fall River CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts as set forth below.

Calculated Salary Range for the role: $28.42 - $34.64 per hour

Qualifications
Required Education:
Master's Degree in a relevant field, or one of the following credentials: CAC, CAS, CADC, CRC, LADC, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
Bachelor's Degree holders without credentials are encouraged to apply if they are committed to obtaining required credentials within 30-60 days of employment.
For Bachelor's-level candidates, we provide reimbursement for licensing or certification exam fees to support credential attainment.
Degree obtained must be in psychology, social work, or related health services field from an accredited college or university.
Your Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities.
Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
Experience conducting individual and group counseling sessions focused on substance use recovery.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention techniques.
Documentation experience, including maintaining clinical notes, treatment plans, and progress updates in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards).
Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary team with medical staff, case managers, and peer support specialists.
Licenses/Certifications:

This position is supporting the Child & Youth associated with Hanscom AFB in Massachusetts; candidate must be local to the installation or willing to relocate to become local. Candidates must be licensed at the independent level as a Social Worker (LICSW), Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Psychologist.
This position has the primary responsibility of providing the full breadth of Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to children of all ages of military service members and their families at military installations to include civilian expeditionary work force and their families (when activated). These services may include non-medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child development centers, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting children and youth. CYB counselors will be assigned to child development centers, youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation.
* Provides non-medical, short-term, solution focused counseling directly to eligible children and youth of service members at assigned primary and secondary locations. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated.
* CYB counselors will also have a focus on supporting the staff and personnel of Child Development Centers (CDC), youth programs and summer camps (if available/assigned) as well as providing parent support, training, and guidance.
* Provides training and health and wellness presentations, participate in health fairs and other base/installation activities focused on children and youth.
* Enters counselor activity data daily through smart phone or web application to assure that reporting is accurate from assigned installation while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity of service/family member.
* Establishes and maintains working relationships with community resources focused on children and youth and provides appropriate linkages. Consistently visible within the assigned location(s) which allows MFLC services to be accessible. When working with children, counselor must abide by line-of-sight protocol. (Another adult with responsibility for the child must be able to see the counselor and child they are working with at all times.)
* Partners with POC to provide CYB services in a manner that addresses the needs of the installation/facility. Develops an effective and professional working relationship with the installation/facility POC.
* Manages duty to warn and restricted reporting situations according to Department of Defense (DoD) protocol and staffs the cases with Regional Supervisor/Regional Director.
* Communicates with Regional Supervisors and participates in regular individual and group supervision, sharing information regarding trends and issues on the installations and in facilities to which the counselor is assigned. Responds to critical incidents and special requests as directed by the POC and approved by the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) program manager. The CYB will flex schedule to respond to urgent requests as needed or at the request of the Regional Supervisor/Regional Director.
* Participates in regular in-services/training, Quality Improvement committees, initiatives, studies, pilot programs other contract activities as assigned/appropriate as directed by the customer and/or Magellan. This includes participation in pilot program certification and training processes, completion of activity documentation, integration of pilot activities in non-medical counseling work, and the utilization of applicable technology to complete required activities.

Master's Degree from an accredited Graduate Program in a Mental Health related field.
Valid unrestricted independent counseling license from a State, District of Columbia, US Territory or Commonwealth that grants authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner. A minimum of two years of post-license clinical experience.
Demonstrate intermediate-level competencies in technology and software (i.e., Microsoft Suite, Internet navigation, Smartphone/Tablet and application navigation, video-conferencing platform navigation).
Requires ability to engage and communicate with military members or children as assigned, in order to accomplish job functions, and to respond quickly to emergent situations in any physical location on a military installation and/or within a school setting, which includes the need to traverse short and/or long distances within the base to both indoor and outdoor locations, to maneuver through rugged, outdoor or uneven locations (e.g., steep inclines, stairs, grass), and work in outdoor weather and other military base conditions. Must meet the Magellan MFLC CYB criteria for experience with children and youth and specialty in child and adolescent development/psychology. School assigned counselors must have past work experience in a school setting to qualify for assignment.

Attend clinical/team meetings for assigned individuals when possible.

Maintain FA/CPR certification as well as PABC certification.
Attend in-service trainings and conferences as needed/appropriate.
