This position is supporting the Child & Youth associated with Hanscom AFB in Massachusetts; candidate must be local to the installation or willing to relocate to become local. Candidates must be licensed at the independent level as a Social Worker (LICSW), Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Psychologist. This position has the primary responsibility of providing the full breadth of Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling services to children of all ages of military service members and their families at military installations to include civilian expeditionary work force and their families (when activated). These services may include non-medical counseling, training/health and wellness presentations, consultation with parents, personnel at child development centers, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues affecting children and youth. CYB counselors will be assigned to child development centers, youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. Your Role as Clinical Supervisor: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of a clinical team in an outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP) recovery environment. You will maintain standards of professional counseling practice in accordance with clinic policies and procedures. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for directing patient care, facilitating workflows, serving as a resource for staff, and providing team leadership. Role Responsibilities: Providing supervision of the clinical staff in an outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP) recovery environment. Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF standards, and clinic and corporate policies and procedures. Monitoring counselor's compliance with productivity requirements and developing improvement plans when requirements are not met. Making staff assignments and creating schedules; updating support staff when changes are made. Conducting patient treatment plan reviews as needed. Performing chart audits and communicates results of audits to staff. Assisting with the recruitment, hiring and training of qualified clinical staff. Involvement in crisis intervention and working as a liaison within community as needed. Ensuring ethical and professional conduct by clinical staff. Compensation for roles at Gifford Street CTC varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Gifford Street CTC provides a reasonable hourly range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Massachusetts as set forth below. Role Location: Massachusetts Calculated Salary Range for the role: $74,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year Qualifications Your Education, Skills and Qualifications: Master's Degree in psychology, behavioral health, social work, counseling, or a social services-related field is required. Minimum 2 years of supervised substance use/addiction counseling experience is required Minimum of 1 year full-time equivalent of clinical experience in a supervisory role is required Licenses/Certifications: One of the following is required in the state of Massachusetts: LMHC LADC I LCSW LICSW Ideal Experience: Leadership experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, including outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities. In-depth knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) protocols and practices, including the use of methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone. Experience supervising and mentoring clinical staff in the delivery of individual and group counseling services for individuals with substance use disorders. Strong understanding of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention, with the ability to train and guide staff in their implementation. Oversight of clinical documentation practices, ensuring accuracy and compliance in treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards, including 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and Joint Commission requirements, with a focus on maintaining audit readiness. Proven success in fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, including medical providers, case managers, and peer support staff, to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. Summary: The FFS Clinician supports Bridgewell's mission by providing individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy and crisis intervention services to individuals with psychiatric and/or developmental disabilities. Schedule: Flexible schedule based on caseload 16+ hours per week Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complete diagnostic intakes, treatment plans, goals and objectives, transfer/discharge summaries, and progress notes for assigned caseload. Provide individual and/or family counseling with clients on assigned caseloads. Coordinate services and collaborate with internal and external providers. Participate in clinical team and/or weekly supervision meetings. Participate in agency Clinical Risk Team Meetings (CRTs) as appropriate/requested. Maintain client records according to regulatory standards. Maintain productivity standards as discussed with the supervisor. Will be audited regularly to ensure compliance. Complete Utilization Review documentation follow-up promptly. Facilitate referrals to other agencies/vendors when appropriate. Adhere to all agency policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Required Education/Experience: Masters Degree in social work, psychology, education, or counseling. Massachusetts state license preferred. Experience working with people with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. Required Skills/Knowledge: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have excellent organizational skills. Must have the ability to focus on and assess the clinical needs of clients and design indicated treatment goals and objectives. Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team setting. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to climb stairs.
