The types of care he is needing are tube feedings and trach care. The family is wanting a nurse that is experienced with trachs. The family is extremely hands on and is just looking for consistent and experienced nurses!

We are currently seeking Full-Time MDS Registered Nurses (RN) who possess excellent organizational, leadership, assessment and documentation skills. MDS experience in a long-term care setting and a Registered Nursing license in the state of Kansas is required.
This RN specialist must also be proficient in electronic health record systems; familiarity with MatrixCare EHR software is a plus. In addition, the candidate must have a strong understanding of Missouri Case Mix, participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits and have the ability to work closely with the inter-disciplinary team to ensure the level of care provided is fully supported in the documentation. This nurse plays a key role in obtaining accurate reimbursement for Medicare under the Prospective Payment System (PDPM) as well as Medicaid reimbursement through the Case Mix System.

Effectively manage and operate within budget

Assist in the evacuation of patients
Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
