Job Responsibilities Provide client-facing care as assigned Provide assistance with daily tasks as directed in the client's personalized plan of care, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping Provide companionship, personal and hygiene care as directed in the client's personalized plan of care, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with measurements, if necessary Assist clients with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing Assist with various office / administrative tasks Participate in office and field on-call as needed Assist the scheduling team with assessing the competency of staff to promote quality, continuity, and safety of care for the agency's clients Train and educate field staff as needed to ensure services are provided in accordance with brand standards Complete new caregiver introductions for home care cases and staffing clients Participate in the intake of new clients and onboarding of new employees Assist office staff with coordinating and executing employee and client appreciation activities throughout the year Assist the office and staff with other duties as needed Adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment Adhere to HIPAA laws and ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information Job Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum one (1) year of documented home care assistance and/or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, etc., is preferred Preferred: Successful completion of a nursing assistant or certified home health aide program Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance (proof of insurance is required) Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
