The aide assists the van driver in safely transporting clients to and from Day Program. An aide is needed on the van with students and/or individuals that have an IEP or other special circumstances.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for redirecting behaviors and physical safety of individuals while in transportation
Assist in loading and unloading special needs individuals and to monitor their ride to and from Day Program
Assist in managing the seating of the passengers so that everyone is safe and secure.

Must check inside vehicle daily, front to back for any children or articles left behind
Should be able to pick up a car seat either drag or carry a child out of the vehicle in an emergency
