Here's what you'd do:
The Enhancement Landscape Laborer executes small scale landscaping operations and maintains grounds and landscape of commercial properties.
You'd be responsible for:
+ Perform plant removal, replanting of lawn, converting lawn areas to planters, or planters to lawn, replace broken sidewalk, lay mow strips, mulch, prune and plant trees.
+ Serve as backup to interior, landscaping maintenance, gardening, irrigation technology and grounds person job or job function.
+ Remove or plant grass, utilize garden tools including rakes, shovels, picks, etc.
+ Dig trenches and set up cement forms for sidewalk replacement, mow strips, and planters.
+ Utilize pruning and trimming equipment to maintain trees and shrubs.
+ Operate lawn maintenance equipment including a 36" mower, blower, gas powered trimmer, and other power equipment.
+ Water plants, lawns, and gardens.
+ Apply fertilizer in accordance with scheduled use and application standards.
+ Perform plant, weed, trim, and blow activities
+ Remove materials from overhead racks on truck and transport materials from site to site.
+ Handle tools, dig, cement fish, plant, weed, maintain, and mow
You might be a good fit if you have:
+ 6 months commercial landscape experience preferred but no required
+ Knowledge to identify proper amount of water application and penetration
+ Current drivers' license
+ Knowledge to adjust and regulate sprinkler heads, finishing cement surfaces, preparing forms for cement pours, and weeding
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
+ Ability to work with cement in preparing for the pour and following finishing procedures.
+ Ability to operate a truck with trailer/gate and ramp for loading, unloading and transport of equipment
+ Ability to stand for 5 minutes, walk for 2 hours and sit for 30 minutes consecutively
+ Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials weighing up to 20 pounds. Distance carried - 50 feet maximum.
+ Ability to handle items such as plants, bushes, hoses, shovels, rakes, and burlap bags - which are handled by two workers.
+ Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. (120 lbs. trees lifted and carried by 4 individuals) a distance of 20 feet for planting.
+ Ability to push or pull grass into rolls requiring force up to 20 lbs.
+ Ability to push/pull, twist, and turn trees with a force of up to 35 lbs. when planting trees.
+ Must be able to bend at the waist when picking up leaves, branches, trimming, mowing, digging trenches, setting forms, and planting.
+ Must possess current drivers' license.

4. Procurement and Inventory Management
+ Ensure procurement of products is properly and effectively sourced from preferred vendor.
+ Manage inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking.
+ Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
+ Facilitate equipment tracking, auditing, usage goals and preventative maintenance.
5. Safety, Compliance and Risk Management
+ Ensure that operations comply with industry regulations and company safety standards.
+ Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
+ Ensure execution of all standard company processes (e.g., Stretch & Flex, Gate Check, ETC compliance, etc.)
+ Conduct audits and ensure documentation is maintained properly.
6. Reporting and Performance Metrics
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
+ Report operational progress and challenges to Branch Manager daily.
+ Use data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement; use of company systems and tools - BrightPath, Power BI, Leadr, Field Management Systems, Estimating (CPQ).
7. Customer Service, Satisfaction and Jobsite Quality
+ Ensure that operations support excellent customer service and jobsite quality.
+ Address any operational issues that impact customer satisfaction.
+ Implement processes to improve customer experience.
8. Project Management
+ Lead or contribute to operational projects aimed at improving the business.
+ Coordinate teams in the branch to achieve branch growth and operational goals.
+ Ensure client's work is delivered on time, within scope, and within forecast.
9. Resource Planning
+ Oversee the allocation of resources, including staffing, equipment, and technology.
+ Forecast operational needs and plan for future resource requirements.
+ Ensure that the company has the capacity to meet operational demands.
10. Collaboration and Communication
+ Serve as a bridge between various branch departments (Office Admin, Operations, Sales, Acct Mgmt. etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
+ Communicate and execute operational excellence strategies through partnership with the Director of Operations.
+ Collaborate with external partners, such as vendors and clients, to optimize operations.
You might be a good fit if you have:
+ 2 or 4 year degree in a landscape or business-related field or equivalent experience in a similar service industry
+ Minimum 7 years in construction or landscaping industry
+ Minimum 2-3 years of management experience within the landscape or service industry
+ Qualified Applicator License (Pesticide or Fertilizer) preferred
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and programs including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, FSM, BrightPath, MFP/WAR calls
+ Experience with mobile applications and software including but not limited to, retrieving email from a mobile device, accessing, and using mobile applications, taking, and sharing pictures

+ Minimum of a 2 year degree in a business related field or equivalent experience

You'd be responsible for:
+ Detecting and making necessary repairs to the irrigation system
+ Accurately reading various gauges related to the irrigation system

+ Spreading, leveling & smoothing concrete, using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed and float
+ Molding expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers and straightedge
+ Monitoring how the wind, heat or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process
+ Producing rough concrete surface using broom operate power vibrator to compact concrete
+ Sprinkling colored marble or stone chips, powered steel or coloring powder over surface to produce desired design or pattern
+ Cutting metal division strips and press them into terrazzo base to form desired design or pattern
+ Fabricating concrete beams, columns and panels
+ Installing anchor bolds, steel plate door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete and or pattern or stamp to surface to provide a decorative finish
