Key Responsibilities: * Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach * Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for installation projects outside the Maintenance book of business. * Develop customized proposals and sales presentations that address client needs and highlight company value * Negotiate and close contracts in alignment with company pricing standards and profitability goals * Build strong, long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and decision-makers * Serve as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle and ensure a smooth transition to operations teams post-sale * Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and drive retention * Stay informed on local market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends to identify new opportunities * Represent the company at trade associations, networking events, and community engagements. * Leverage market intelligence to position the company as a preferred partner for landscaping installation solutions * Partner with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure accurate proposals and service delivery. Review large scale ($1M or greater) jobs with senior leadership (SVP) * Work with branch and senior leadership to set annual sales goals, budgets, and strategies * Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and results using CRM systems Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience) * 3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, facility management or related service industries * Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, horticulture, and project management fundamentals * Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills * Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently * Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting Physical Demands/Requirements: * Regular local travel to client sites, industry events, and networking opportunities * Office-based activities including proposal development, client follow-up, and team collaboration * Ability to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Work Environment: * Works in an indoor office and outdoors during construction site walks or project evaluations * Requires occasional evening and/or weekend networking events or meetings BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
