Here's what you'd do:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
You'd be responsible for:
1. Process Improvement and Efficiency
Analyze current operational processes and workflows.
Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
Streamline processes to reduce costs, improve productivity and quality.
2. Team Leadership and Development
Manage and supervise staff, ensuring they are motivated and productive.
Provide training, development, and performance evaluations.
Foster a positive work environment and address team issues promptly.
3. Forecasting and Labor Management
Manage and execute weekly and monthly labor planner as directed by BM.
Monitor expenses and allocate resources efficiently.
Ensure the branch operates within its forecasted labor hours/ dollars/ percents to meet financial targets.
4. Procurement and Inventory Management
Ensure procurement of products is properly and effectively sourced from preferred vendor.
Manage inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Facilitate equipment tracking, auditing, usage goals and preventative maintenance.
5. Safety, Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure that operations comply with industry regulations and company safety standards.
Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Ensure execution of all standard company processes (e.g., Stretch & Flex, Gate Check, ETC compliance, etc.)
Conduct audits and ensure documentation is maintained properly.
6. Reporting and Performance Metrics
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
Report operational progress and challenges to Branch Manager daily.
Use data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement; use of company systems and tools - BrightPath, Power BI, Leadr, Field Management Systems, Estimating (CPQ).
7. Customer Service, Satisfaction and Jobsite Quality
Ensure that operations support excellent customer service and jobsite quality.
Address any operational issues that impact customer satisfaction.
Implement processes to improve customer experience.
8. Project Management
Lead or contribute to operational projects aimed at improving the business.
Coordinate teams in the branch to achieve branch growth and operational goals.
Ensure client's work is delivered on time, within scope, and within forecast.
9. Resource Planning
Oversee the allocation of resources, including staffing, equipment, and technology.
Forecast operational needs and plan for future resource requirements.
Ensure that the company has the capacity to meet operational demands.
10. Collaboration and Communication
Serve as a bridge between various branch departments (Office Admin, Operations, Sales, Acct Mgmt. etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate and execute operational excellence strategies through partnership with the Director of Operations.
Collaborate with external partners, such as vendors and clients, to optimize operations.
You might be a good fit if you have:
2 or 4 year degree in a landscape or business-related field or equivalent experience in a similar service industry
Minimum 7 years in construction or landscaping industry
Minimum 2-3 years of management experience within the landscape or service industry
Qualified Applicator License (Pesticide or Fertilizer) preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and programs including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, FSM, BrightPath, MFP/WAR calls
Experience with mobile applications and software including but not limited to, retrieving email from a mobile device, accessing, and using mobile applications, taking, and sharing pictures
Demonstrates ability to function successfully in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to create and foster a team-oriented environment

Prepare Landscape Trucks for the day including:
Load gas cans, mowers, and other equipment onto trucks/trailers
Secure all equipment onto trucks/trailers
Safely operate vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws.
Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met
Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to Production Manager
Assist in resolving issues with customer service when needed
Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies
Communicate regularly with Production Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded
Deliver services as specified on client sites
Work to identify more efficient ways to perform work
Coordinate service execution with Production Manager
Oversee day to day site operations and delegate work to crew team members
Provide Production Manager feedback on crew member(s)
Work with Production Manager, helping to develop and train crew members
Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working order
Participate in branch meetings as directed
Accurately capture and turn in crew time logs
Log equipment usage and maintenance cycles
Perform maintenance on equipment:
Unload equipment from BrightView trucks/trailer
Wash equipment and truck
Change equipment blades and oil.
Clean air filters.
Grease machines
Conduct EDVIR on assigned vehicles.

Analyzing plans, specs, construction notes and details for risk, constructability and value engineering opportunities. Assist Business Developer in communicating challenges and opportunities to the client.
Completing thorough cost analysis and identify potential risks to upper management to facilitate best cost at bid time with informed margin decisions.
Assisting in proposal creation with qualifications and clarifications on each specific project.
Leveraging library of resources to compile highest quality proposals with prequalification information, resumes, project profiles and generate project specific schedules where applicable.
Using Estimating computer software to orient information to the audience. Understanding and generating specific reports from HCSS, utilize OST to present project exhibits.
Supporting Estimator of record in turnover preparation to include final reports, complete list of qualifications/estimate clarifications, appropriately organized project folder, PlanGrid document upload.
Attending all Turnover Meetings to facilitate effective transition from Estimating to Operations
Attending all branch Staff Meetings with other Managers. Strategize with other Managers to support branch goals.
Developing and maintaining resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
Supporting the overall goals and objectives of the regional and national teams.
You might be a good fit if you have:
Minimum of 5 years of construction experience in large scale public or private commercial or private site work projects
Client centric perspective, strong customer service with effective communication and technical selling experience.

Here's what you'd do:
The Crew Leader executes site level tasks on BrightView's client sites. This position directs the work of 2-5 other employees and ensures assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards set by BrightView and BrightView's clients. The Crew Leader oversees crews working in varying service lines including basic maintenance, landscape installation, and supportive services like irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications.
You'd be responsible for
Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met
Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to Operations Manager
Assist in resolving issues with customer service when needed
Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies
Communicate regularly with Operations Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded
Deliver services as specified on client sites
Work to identify more efficient ways to perform work
Coordinate service execution with Operations Manager
Oversee day to day site operations and delegate work to crew team members
Provide Operations Manager feedback on crew member(s)
Work with Operations Manager, helping to develop and train crew members
Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working order
Participate in branch meetings as directed
Accurately capture and turn in crew time logs through electronic time capture (ETC).
Log equipment usage and maintenance cycles
You might be a good fit if you have:
BrightView Equipment certifications
Experience in a landscape-related field
Demonstrated leadership among the team and with peers
Driver's License
