You gain experience and a Telecom Technician
Kapolei, Hawaii location Also known Also known as: Bristol Communications and Power Systems. There is no licensed electricians, this means you cannot have any of your hours signed off to gain your EJS license. No worker or staff member is certified in any area of work in Telecom. The branch manger and foreman are unprofessional. I was under the tenure with this company for 2 years. In that time I have seen this company let go of 10 NEW employees, which of whom only arrived late. But the company resumed employment with workers whom have mistreated customers, broken customer sprinkler systems/property, publicly drank on shift, gotten into accidents in work vehicles on work hours due to speeding, urinated on restaurant windows during operating hours, and much more. The Forman will openly flirt with women on shift. It is normal for workers to car pool in company vehicles to the work site but it is NOT normal to pull over or park and honk the horn at women and attempt to converse with them. This foreman on multiple occasions has openly bought alcohol and drank alcohol while driving multiple employees to and from locations all while denying anybody else to drive the work vehicle. When reporting these types of issues to the branch manager, nothing is done. But an 18 year old employee who arrived late once is fired openly. The branch manager is unprofessional and emotional. He has limited respect for younger employees and will insist for workers to do the extra and to start an hour early and stay an hour late all unpaid but refuses to incentivize his employees. You can fulfill and exceed the next position for Technicians but he will make it a point to deny it simply due to pay raises but is open to letting the employee take on extra responsibilities but deny any additional pay for the extra work. Behind closed doors, the branch manager is unprofessional and will insist for the employee to let go of their emotions and to speak harshly so that he may “see where we stand.” He will also let nobody fulfill their 2 week notice of leave, he will go through the extra work to fire the employee beforehand. This has happened multiple times, often resulting in firing the employee on a FRIDAY. This company has gone through 3 OSHA violations and as a result is a HIGH RISK. Their safety measures are not taken.
