Work closely with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to ensure the proper baggage and cargo pulled and loaded on the proper aircraft assigned by the customer and CSR's. The CSR's will give you a copy of the manifest for each flight to ensure you are aware. Keep in mind that changes are constantly made;
Escorting of passengers to and from all aircraft;
Safe operations of ground support equipment (i.e., golf carts, forklifts);
Assist with the towing of aircraft;
Some flight following duties may be required (i.e., answering phones, assisting with radio calls, and parking assignments);
General housekeeping of the Operations buildings and parking lots, company vehicles, maintenance equipment, etc. Performed on a daily and weekly schedule;
Set the stage first thing in the morning; this includes making coffee, layout newspapers, confirm the Operations building is clean and free of clutter, check restrooms for cleanliness, and ensure all trash cans are emptied. This duty should be completed periodically during the day;
Any other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required;
Maintain a Valid Driver's License and physically be able to drive company vehicles as required;
Organized and be able to work effectively as a team or independently with a large and varied workload within in all weather conditions;
Strong customer/interpersonal skills;
Maintain professional appearance;
Must have excellent communication skills;
Positive attitude;
Must be able to lift 50 pounds;
Must be able to operate a forklift;
Must be able to travel and work overtime as required by Bristow Management.

Job Summary

Essential Functions

All Aircraft Washers are responsible to his/her Maintenance Supervisor or Ground Ops Manager for the accomplishment of all assigned work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintaining company aircraft in a clean and presentable condition inside and out;
Being knowledgeable of the damage that can be caused with careless wash procedures. For example:
Using the wash brush causes scratches on the plastic windows. He/she must be able to identify the difference between glass and plastic windows.
Spraying water directly in certain areas of the aircraft can cause issues. Do not spray water in the pitot tubes, starter/generator blast tubes, etc. If in doubt, direction should be requested from the Maintenance Supervisor or Ground Ops Manager.
Be careful while using the wash brush on the aircraft. Too much force could damage or knock off antennas or pitot tubes.
Be aware of the overall attention that should be provided while working around and in the aircraft.
Maintaining an attitude of alertness concerning possible unsafe or hazardous practices by him/her or other personnel which might be injurious to personnel or property;
Reporting all hazardous practices and equipment to his/her Maintenance Supervisor or Ground Ops Manager
Maintaining a clean work area during and after all job functions;
Staying current on manual changes, policy changes and rules concerning general conduct; and
Performing other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required;

• Manifest and check identification for all inbound and outbound passengers through TSA list when needed;
• Maintain contract information such as rig names, lats, longs, blocks, freqs, and deck info. Fuel info. Crew change dates and customer specifications;
• If applicable, responsible for making hotel/vehicle accommodations when we have an overflow of pilots or mechanics RON;
• If applicable, flight-follow when aircraft cannot get through to Operations;
• Communicate with the Base Manager or Lead Pilots or AMTs with day to day operations. Also, assist the above with any administrative duties that need to be accomplished;
• Maintain a log of all daily flights;
• Gather flight logs from the previous day. Check the times for accuracy and make sure all other pertinent information is correct. Add flight information to daily flight logs. Make copies and create base files to hold for two months. The originals should be mailed to the Accounting Department every third day, making sure that all logs for the month have been sent in by the first of the new month;
• Gather and sort all incoming mail and faxes;
• Log all incoming and outgoing packages. Arrange FedEx when customers send in outgoing packages;
• Email daily aircraft status at the end of each day after confirming status with the Lead AMT;
• Email hotel and rental car logs every Friday;
• Keep a log of all mechanical delays on contracted aircraft and email every day;
• Keep a log of the number of passengers traveling outbound each day;
• At the closing of the day, make sure the manifest/sign-in sheets are ready for the next morning;
• At closing, please do one final walk through confirming that the waiting area and restrooms are clean and organized for the next business day;
• If applicable, loading baggage and cargo onto and off of aircraft;
• Any other duties as assigned.

Bristow Group is continuously seeking top talent to join our team. Applications are now being accepted for VFR helicopter pilots to provide support to the offshore oil & gas industry. This Captain position works a 14 on, 14 off schedule (relief role) in support of contracts, based in Houma, Louisiana.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates their assigned aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, in strict compliance with Bristow operational standards and all applicable regulations;
Places safety and customer service at the forefront in everything they do, both inside and outside the aircraft;
Maintains situational awareness throughout the entire operational region with respect to weather conditions, NOTAMs, sea state and customer offshore facility status;
Manages passenger movements, aircraft movements, briefings and baggage loading to ensure safety and compliance;
Completes necessary flight planning paperwork, preflight, fueling and oversight of manifesting to ensure compliance;
Maintains with accuracy both electronic and paper records to include journey logs, personal flight and duty sheets, and aircraft technical logbook times;
Reports all aircraft mechanical irregularities by entering them in the aircraft paper and electronic technical log and ensures aircraft is airworthy before, during and after all flights;
Facilitates communications with the customer and ensures Bristow is represented in a professional manner;
Primarily works in the GOM offshore region, but remains available for dispatch to other GOM locations for temporary assignments;
Stays up to date on all Bristow operational and safety procedures; and
Complies with other duties and assignments as determined by the Lead Pilot / Operations Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENT
Applicants applying for this position are required to meet the minimum requirements as outlined by (14 CFR 135.243);
Each applicant is required to hold a 1st class medical certificate;
Each applicant is required to hold an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, with a Helicopter Instrument rating;
1500 Hours Helicopter (PIC)
100 Helicopter flight hours in preceding 12 months
Each applicant will be required to complete the position's screening questionnaire to determine eligibility for consideration;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required;
Must be organized and be able to work with a large and varied workload;
Must possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1 Year in the Offshore Oil and Gas environment;
ATP;
200 offshore hours; or 100 hours with 50 in the last 12 months (Note: offshore time = to and from vessels, platforms, helideck, oil rigs, or similar);
25 Hours A119 Time
