General Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
Project a positive representation of Ace Retail Group.
Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
Project a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.
Possess good product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
Store Operations
Responsible for cycle counting and maintaining desirable inventory level in assigned department(s).
Work with management staff to ensure preventative maintenance and repairs are completed in order to maximize and protect all physical assets (i.e. building, fixtures and equipment).
Ensure accurate receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise in assigned department(s).
Responsible for maintenance of back stock levels in assigned department(s).
Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area, especially in assigned department(s).
Assist with overall maintenance of the store.
Ensure that weekly price changes are done in assigned department(s).
Ensure that monthly cycle counts and negative on hand reports are completed in assigned department(s).
Assist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor including end caps and ad merchandise.
Assist with merchandise resets throughout store, especially in assigned department(s).

Description of Work
The Deaf-Blind Specialist serves as an advocate and service coordinator for transition-age and adult individuals who are deaf-blind and are participating in, or preparing to participate in, vocational rehabilitation or independent living programs. The primary goal of this role is to support individuals in achieving successful employment outcomes or greater independence.
This position acts as a liaison between deaf-blind consumers and a wide range of service providers, ensuring access to and effective coordination of services necessary for rehabilitation, employment retention, and community integration.
The Deaf-Blind Specialist applies specialized knowledge of deaf-blindness-including medical, social, psychological, communication, educational, and cultural aspects-to consult on service delivery, support rehabilitation staff, and advocate for high-quality services. Responsibilities also include identifying deaf-blind individuals within the service area, assessing service needs, facilitating partnerships with providers, and delivering training and public education to increase awareness and improve outcomes for the deaf-blind community.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
