REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a MACHINE OPERATOR (ALL SHIFTS) in Winston Salem, NC
Your key responsibilities will include:
Diagnose machine problems, respond to fault lamp, message displays and adjust machine accordingly.
Load materials, clear materials jams and make minor machine adjustments.
Perform light machine maintenance.
Perform machine and area cleaning as described in work instructions.
Perform all quality checks and test as described in work instructions.
Order materials, verify materials and production specifications, perform quality checks, monitor and respond to KPI data prompts, set up machine for varios product styles and classify finished product through direct interaction with advanced Manufacturing Execution System and Document Management System and other computer applications as appropiate.
Perform procedure and work assignments in keeping with Company safety rules and all other policies and procedures.
What are we looking for?
2-5 years in a high-speed industrial production environment.
Three years of operator experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.
Work Keys assessment scores: Applied Math 3, Workplace Documents or Reading for Information 3, Graphic Literacy 3, Workplace Observation 2 (preferred).
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Walking, climbing, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights to 25 feet

+ Accurately operate quality testing equipment including Brabender, pH meter, refractometer, Wiley Mill, Ro-Tap, V-blender, as applicable for the manufacturing area supported.
+ Precisely obtain, prepare, weigh, test, and record samples in accordance with specifications.
+ Accurately record information regarding Quality Alerts and Quality Incidents.
+ Perform and record results accurately of tests that have been completed (pH, moisture level, etc.).
+ Perform preventive maintenance checks and calibrations (daily verification checks) of quality equipment.
+ Report all non-conformances from normal practices and procedures by means of Quality Control reports

Your key responsibilities will include:
Organizational Strategy:
* Partner with Sr HRBP to identify and implement productivity and efficiency improvements, including reorganizations, staff augmentation, and outsourcing.
* Lead the execution of global transformation programs and HR initiatives.
* Provide strategic change management support to facilitate smooth transitions.
Talent Management:
* Collaborate with the Center of Excellence (CoE) to execute talent strategies.
* Support line managers with external recruitment.
* Identify and address learning and development needs with L&D partners
* Coach line managers on employee performance issues and documentation.
* Co-facilitate talent review meetings and performance panels.
Talent Engagement:
* Manage the engagement survey process and subsequent action plans.
* Align functional strategies with overall organizational goals.
* Champion culture and diversity & inclusion (D&I) initiatives.
Employee Relations:
* Coach line managers on handling employee relations issues, including grievances, conduct, and disciplinary matters.
* Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns for the population.
* Support performance improvement plans, investigations, corrective actions, and terminations.
* Assist with the leave process as needed.
Reward Management:
* Advise line managers on compensation reviews and reward communications.
* Oversee the implementation of monetary and non-monetary reward processes.
Workforce Planning:
* Execute workforce plans and manage HR Business Planning Cycles
* Oversee the Total Employment Cost budget for population and develop presentations for leadership team meetings.
Administrative:
* Track headcount and manage global roles, including international assignments and L2L processes.
* Provide organizational design consultation and governance.
* Support leadership team effectiveness and manage position-related documentation.
What are we looking for?
* Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, human resources, or a related field preferred
* Minimum of five to 6 years of experience in progressively responsible roles within human resources, including human resources business partner or "generalist" roles.
* Prior experience implementing talent strategies for a research and development function highly preferred; experience in a multi-national global consumer products company would be beneficial.
* Knowledgeable in leading edge business practices, trends, and information; aware of reward and benefits strategies and innovative tactics being applied in the marketplace; Solid project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Strong collaboration and team-oriented approach with an ability to positively influence others across an organization at all levels.
* Ability to support 3 shift operation within manufacturing facility.
* Self-motivated, self-confident individual who is comfortable operating with minimal direction and who thrives in a dynamic environment as a leader influencing change and transformation.
* Able to build credibility among senior management and peers to gain commitment and support for major initiatives while placing company's interests first.
* Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills. Comfortable developing and delivering presentations utilizing data and insights.
* Strong conceptual thinker with an ability to analyse and grasp the broader picture; Possesses an inquisitive nature.
