Job Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for quick and proper responses to emergency situations in the Community Building and surrounding areas.
2. Accountable for following properly all safety and sanitation regulations and departmental practices.
3. Changes all light bulbs and clean lights based on schedule assigned by Facilities Director for Housekeeping and Community Services.
4. Maintains all carpets and floor surfaces in assigned areas in a clean, sanitary and attractive condition through carefully and properly following established procedures, schedules and Facilities Director for Housekeeping and Community Service's instructions.
5. Maintains all equipment in good working order. Is responsible for communicating any problem with equipment to Facilities Director for Housekeeping and Community Services.
6. Keeps Community center clean and cleans all offices and public areas according to procedure, instruction and schedule.
7. Assists during resident garden home transitions ensuring that home meets new move in standards for housekeeping and furniture.
8. Moves heavy furniture as requested and completes room set ups for events/meeting per instruction.
9. Assisted as needed with collection of all trash and recyclables and proper storage and distribution of same.
10. Participates in heavy lifting assistance for Home Management Associates and participates during heavier Spring cleaning schedules for residents.
11. Works weekend schedule based on assigned shifts and will work on skilled care units or community center during weekend coverage and complete duties as assigned to those areas.
12. Adheres to all regulations as they pertain to skilled care units and independent living procedures and regulations.
13. Accountable for attending in-service training, web training (Relias) and any other training as designated by the department and for keeping mandatory training up to date.
14. Accountable for reporting to work during emergency situations and staying on site as may be requested by Facilities Director for Housekeeping and Community Services.

Develop program content on a wide variety of topics (e.g., meal planning, hydration, gut health, heart health, weight loss, portion control, etc.)

Collaborate with the Health & Wellness team to align content with resident needs and organizational initiatives.

What we are looking fo r :
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in nutrition sciences, food & nutrition, dietetics, community nutrition, public health nutrition, or equivalent academic training such as nutrition education and food science.
Maryland State Licensure as a Nutritionist (CNS) required.

Able to work a flexible schedule, have reliable transportation, and be on time for scheduled shifts.

About the Role
The Director of Housekeeping & Laundry Services leads a department dedicated to elevating the resident experience through a high level of hospitality and operational excellence. Responsibilities of an Environmental Services Associate:
Responsible for daily assigned area of duty, which may include any occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning of patient rooms or patient areas, the cleaning and disinfection of resident homes, the cleaning of medical equipment as assigned, support in laundry/linen services, and any other common areas of assignment.
Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements, proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor saving products for all items within the healthcare environment for which tasked with servicing.
Adheres to all organization safety, risk management and infection control guidelines and standards while promoting a culture of safety.
Actively participates in departmental performance improvement initiatives, including but not limited to initiatives to improve patient experience and cleanliness metrics.
Maintains cleaning cart(s), supplies and equipment evidence by properly stocking and restocking environmental services cart in a neat and orderly fashion.
Removes waste and transports to the appropriate disposal area while identifying proper waste streams handling (i.e. regulated medical, recycle, solid, and hazardous).
Follows all infection prevention practices (i.e. proper cleaning and disinfection protocols and process, hand hygiene, standard & isolation precautions, as wel as proper donning and doffing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Recognizes and adheres to patient privacy requirements (HIPAA).
Requirements of an Environmental Services Associate:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Job Descriptions:
1. Responsible for providing transportation for the residents and staff of Broadmead.
2. Responsible for ensuring that safety is given the highest priority when transporting residents outside of the community.
3. Responsible for making recommendations regarding the maintenance, upkeep, emission testing, and other service requirements for the vehicles used for resident transportation.
4. Responsible for handling emergency situations when called upon which could arise while away from the community, and must have the ability to exercise good judgment while maintaining composure in such cases.
