Required: High School Diploma or GED Responsibilities: Build and maintain supportive relationships with residents, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment. Assist residents with daily living activities, Implement and follow treatment plans as developed by clinical staff, providing encouragement and support to residents. Observe and document resident behaviors and progress, reporting any changes or concerns to clinical staff. Facilitate group activities and therapeutic sessions to enhance residents' social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care for all residents. Manage crisis situations calmly and effectively, implementing de-escalation techniques as necessary. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health care. Uphold the dignity and respect of all residents, ensuring their rights and privacy are always protected. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred. - Previous experience in a residential behavioral health setting is highly desirable. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents from diverse backgrounds. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when necessary. - Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail. - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
