GENERAL PURPOSE\:
The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers in a courteous and friendly manner, treats fellow Associates with respect, efficiently follows all company best practice standards as outlined in all work centers, and ensures proper merchandise presentation. The Retail Associate is expected to be engaged in these tasks as assigned during all working hours, and will be expected to perform a range of functions in all areas of the Store as business needs require. The Associate may be requested to perform additional tasks in specific situations, if performance of these tasks will help achieve our Customer service and operational goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do.
Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone. Maintains clutter free, clear egress to emergency exits. Immediately corrects or reports any unsafe conditions or practices to Store Leadership.
Treats all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; is friendly and professional at all times. Recognizes fellow Associates using Company recognition programs.
Assists Customers in any way necessary - is register-trained, assists Customers with merchandise, and answers Customer questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner. Greets all Customers by making eye contact, smiling and saying “hello” throughout the Store as well as saying “thank you” with every register transaction.
Provides prompt and efficient responses to Customers at all times. Responds to Customer Service calls immediately. Handles all Customer issues in a courteous and helpful way, calling a member of the Store Leadership when needed.
Represents and supports the Company brand at all times.
Maintains a professional appearance, and adheres to the Company dress code at all times.
Performs daily assigned sizing and recovery per company best practice to ensure a neat, clean and organized store that is well-maintained and efficiently merchandised to standards.
Expedites newly received merchandise receipts to the sales floor with a sense of urgency, merchandising all items per company best practice to the monthly presentation guidelines and maintaining merchandise/brand name familiarity within departments to assist Customers.
Understands the Loss Prevention Awareness program, the Shortage Highway, the Store Protection Specialist (SPS) position (where applicable), and merchandise protection standards.
As a representative of Ross Inc., demonstrates integrity and honesty in all interactions with Associates and Customers. Safeguards confidential information, cash and credit card information, and merchandise.
Follows all Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) policies, including the identification of MOS merchandise, proper processing of each piece and the notification of Store Leadership to review and approve all disposals.
Follows all policies and procedures concerning cash, check, charge card and refund transactions, voids and offline procedures. Maintains a high level of awareness and accuracy when handling bankable tenders.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency to efficiently perform their role. Maximizes productivity by executing all Store best practices and minimizing steps and touches in their work flow.

DEPARTMENTAL INFORMATION
This position is assigned to the Hefner Water Treatment Plant located north of Lake Hefner. The Hefner Plant provides drinking water to 40% of the region. This highly complex water treatment facility contains chemical feed systems, filtering systems, water storage, pumping stations, and sludge facility.
This position works with the maintenance supervisor for the Hefner Plant to schedule maintenance work according to the maintenance supervisor's priorities. Working with the supervisor and using work order software, this position creates new equipment, preventative maintenance work orders, schedules, and maintains inventory.
Standard working hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, hours may vary-including earlier starts, later ends, weekends, or holidays-based on position duties, location, and business needs.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is located in the Water Quality Division of the Utilities Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is under the direction of an immediate supervisor. Utility Planner and Scheduler is a full-proficiency, para-professional classification responsible for applying knowledge of organizational and industry training requirements to work performed. The Utility Planner and Scheduler identifies and analyzes organizational training needs and designs, plans, and schedules training activities to fulfill those needs. This position is responsible for the efficient use of department resources by integrating and coordinating training plans, budgets, and schedules with operational activities, ensuring milestones and goals are met. Essential job functions include: creating routine to complex work schedules to determine scheduling sequence and lead time of each project or operation activity to meet forecasted master schedule; analyzing production specifications and training data; planning and scheduling workflow for each resource and/or operation according to previously established sequences and lead times; and planning sequences with other operations. The Utility Planner and Scheduler confers with department supervisors and management to determine status of projects and facilitate training completion according to schedule; alters schedules to meet unforeseen emergency situations; prepares training reports; may prepare standard lists of required materials, tools, and equipment used for training sessions; and may prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, equipment and services. The employee collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to plan and schedule employee participation in various training programs. The employee may provide functional supervision to nontechnical staff, with work products subject to review by a division manager or an immediate supervisor.

This posting will be used to fill a current vacancy in the Streets and Drainage Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department. An eligibility list will be established or supplemented for filling future vacancies per provisions of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Collective Bargaining Agreement. The skills, knowledge, and abilities required for full performance must be acquired prior to assuming the position. Incumbents must possess skill in operating at least one or more pieces of very heavy construction equipment specific to a particular work site and have the ability to learn to operate other equipment. The employee must possess all necessary licenses and certifications prior to operating the assigned equipment. Essential job functions include: driving and/or operating various pieces of light, heavy and/or very heavy construction or maintenance equipment used in activities, such as, construction excavation, asphalt stripping etc., and assuming responsibility for following all safety and maintenance procedures relating to the proper operation and condition of the assigned equipment. The primary equipment used may include: earth movers, large motor graders, large bulldozers, large asphalt rollers and pavers, large cranes, Gradalls; Hoptos; scrapers; cranes; tandem trucks; and tractor-trailer rigs. A Construction Equipment Operator II may also be expected to complete specific tasks including, but not limited to: operating front-end loaders for cutting slope; operating backhoes when digging around underground gas/electrical lines or large water mains; and interpreting construction plans or drawing and performing operations necessary to comply with plan or drawing specifications. Specialized attachments such as snowplows, trailers, winches, etc. may be used to complete less routine job assignments. The incumbent may work independently in delivering materials and equipment or in conjunction with other workers and equipment while on construction or maintenance projects. In the absence of a supervisor the worker may be expected to assume lead-worker responsibility for other employees and equipment and effective completion of projects. Due to equipment malfunctions, limited worker availability, or adverse weather conditions, this classification may be expected to perform crew or maintenance-type tasks. Work instructions are received verbally and in writing, with work reviewed by a supervisor through inspection and written reports or upon completion for compliance with blueprints and overall quality.

JOB SUMMARY

Review various planning related applications received for compliance with the City's general Comprehensive Master Plan, land development policies, and subdivision and site plan design standards.
Perform architectural and/or site layout design analysis.
Coordinate the City's application review process with affected parties, including the applicant, property owners, other planning staff, architectural and civil engineering consultants, City regulatory and review bodies, and the general public.
Maintain current and accurate case files on each Planning Division application as received.
Prepare and present written and oral reports to regulatory and public hearing bodies. Such reports include planning staff findings and recommendations as it relates to compliance with City regulations.
Maintain City planning guides and documents, information data bases, base mapping, planning and development codes, and related regulations for research, documentation, and public access and use.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Primarily inside in climate-controlled environment in office and court buildings.

This position is located in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Transport division of the Oklahoma City Fire Department and will be responsible for field patient care and at times, operation of a patient transport ambulance. Medical and clinical performance will be in accordance with documented protocols, practices, and Medical Control Board directives; in the best interest of the patient; and confined to the scope of practice commensurate with Paramedic level licensure. This position is responsible for reviewing plans related to water and wastewater systems, providing planning services, and processing record information requests. JOB SUMMARY

JOB SUMMARY
This position is in the Land Use Division of the Office of the Municipal Counselor and reports to the Land Use Division Head. This position requires that the applicant be admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma and a member, or eligible for immediate admission to the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. An Assistant Municipal Counselor provides legal services and guidance to the City, its officers, and departments to ensure that all City operations are performed in a manner consistent with the requirements of federal, state and City laws and ordinances. Drafting ordinances, resolutions, contracts, including real estate documents such as purchase agreements and easements, legal opinions and memorandums, and other documents as required by boards, department heads, City administration and management for review by supervising attorneys and the Municipal Counselor. Attending meetings of boards and commissions in the capacity of legal advisor. Knowledge of the Oklahoma Open Meetings Act, the Oklahoma Open Records Act, and Robert's Rules of Order would be beneficial. Providing legal advice to various departments within the City including but not limited to Planning, Development Services, Parks, and Public Works. Knowledge of City ordinances and interpreting their effect on municipal operations, as well as experience in municipal law including zoning and planning law is desirable but not essential.

JOB SUMMARY
This position is located in the Recreation, Health, and Wellness Division of the Parks and Recreation Department within the City of Oklahoma City. The Parks Program Specialist is responsible for supervising and coordinating events, operation of facilities and assisting with Parks and Recreation programs and activities. Typical duties include: planning, promoting, coordinating, and executing program activities; supervising contract, volunteer, ancillary, third party and/or lower-level part-time personnel; maintaining required forms, such as event permits, facility inspections, inventory lists, time and attendance reports, program planning documents, and a schedule of facility activities; conducting program participation surveys and reporting outcomes; meeting with assigned staff to discuss and resolve work related problems; handling and adjusting complaints from patrons or facility tenants; explaining facility services and programs to the public and program participants; and presenting programs, such as music, dance, art, craft, cultural, natural science, swimming, sports, etc. Employees in this classification may have classified access to valuable inventory of concession products or computer systems where event admission tickets and financial information are stored. Systems operated may include: computerized ticketing systems, phones, inventory management systems, and related financial software. Other duties may include: cash handling; initiating paperwork in response to emergency situations and overseeing all emergency procedures. Ability to travel is required.
