    GENERAL PURPOSE\: The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers in a courteous and friendly manner, treats fellow Associates with respect, efficiently follows all company best practice standards as outlined in all work centers, and ensures proper merchandise presentation. The Retail Associate is expected to be engaged in these tasks as assigned during all working hours, and will be expected to perform a range of functions in all areas of the Store as business needs require. The Associate may be requested to perform additional tasks in specific situations, if performance of these tasks will help achieve our Customer service and operational goals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do. Maintains a high level of awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment for everyone. Maintains clutter free, clear egress to emergency exits. Immediately corrects or reports any unsafe conditions or practices to Store Leadership. Treats all Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; is friendly and professional at all times. Recognizes fellow Associates using Company recognition programs. Assists Customers in any way necessary - is register-trained, assists Customers with merchandise, and answers Customer questions in a polite and knowledgeable manner. Greets all Customers by making eye contact, smiling and saying “hello” throughout the Store as well as saying “thank you” with every register transaction. Provides prompt and efficient responses to Customers at all times. Responds to Customer Service calls immediately. Handles all Customer issues in a courteous and helpful way, calling a member of the Store Leadership when needed. Represents and supports the Company brand at all times. Maintains a professional appearance, and adheres to the Company dress code at all times. Performs daily assigned sizing and recovery per company best practice to ensure a neat, clean and organized store that is well-maintained and efficiently merchandised to standards. Expedites newly received merchandise receipts to the sales floor with a sense of urgency, merchandising all items per company best practice to the monthly presentation guidelines and maintaining merchandise/brand name familiarity within departments to assist Customers. Understands the Loss Prevention Awareness program, the Shortage Highway, the Store Protection Specialist (SPS) position (where applicable), and merchandise protection standards. As a representative of Ross Inc., demonstrates integrity and honesty in all interactions with Associates and Customers. Safeguards confidential information, cash and credit card information, and merchandise. Follows all Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) policies, including the identification of MOS merchandise, proper processing of each piece and the notification of Store Leadership to review and approve all disposals. Follows all policies and procedures concerning cash, check, charge card and refund transactions, voids and offline procedures. Maintains a high level of awareness and accuracy when handling bankable tenders. Demonstrates a sense of urgency to efficiently perform their role. The hours are 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. JOB SUMMARY This position is located in the Water Quality Division of the Utilities Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is under the direction of a Utilities Shift Supervisor. The Plant Operator III acts as a shift supervisor and is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a treatment plant and/or pump station(s) and for inspecting and monitoring assigned areas of plant operations to ensure established procedures are followed in maintaining the treatment of water and/or wastewater processes in compliance with regulatory and department requirements. The job requires a thorough knowledge of water and/or wastewater treatment operations and an ability to supervise operations personnel engaged in maintaining and operating plant or pump station machinery and ensuring their safety. Essential job functions include: monitoring equipment; monitoring chemical feed rates; recording and compiling data for operating reports; training and supervising operations personnel; monitoring and ensuring laboratory tests are accurately recorded and in compliance with regulatory and department requirements; and ensuring chemicals used in the treatment process are within required standards at minimal cost. As it relates to water: delivering high quality, potable water to the distribution network consistent with health and environmental requirements required by federal, state, and department drinking water standards; managing water flow through the water plant processes so that the plant delivers potable water under adequate pressure to the distribution network and produces water treatment biosolids meeting department requirements; monitoring and managing water quality and flow throughout the distribution network, pumping station(s), and water storage facilities; and producing treatment biosolids that meet department standards. JOB SUMMARY This posting will be used to fill a current vacancy in the Traffic Services Division of the Public Works Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is under the direction of an immediate supervisor. The Traffic Maintenance Worker may be assigned to various specialized functional areas, including pavement marking, sign installation, sign fabrication, and signal maintenance and installation. Our 10-year capital improvement program is nearly $6 billion. The treatment and distribution system consists of two water treatment plants, four wastewater treatment plants, 4,000 miles of water pipe and 3,000 miles of sewer pipe. Oklahoma City relies on water from two sources, the North Canadian River supply, and the Southeastern Oklahoma supply. Canton, Hefner and Overholser Reservoirs receive water from the North Canadian River. The Stanley Draper Reservoir receives water from the Atoka and McGee Creek Reservoirs located in southeast Oklahoma via a 100-mile, 60-inch pipeline. In 2019, we began constructing the second 100-mile, 72-inch Atoka Pipeline to provide additional capacity. Approximately 22 miles of pipeline have been built, and 42 miles are under construction. Three new pump stations are also under construction. The remainder will be bid later this year. The Program is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2028. We continuously plan for future water supply needs and have secured additional water rights in southeast Oklahoma from the Sardis Reservoir in the Kiamichi River basin.     Pay Grade: A14 FLSA Status: Non-exempt Under general supervision, enhances, expands, and maintains the City's Geographic Information System (GIS). * Performs data conversions between various spatial data formats (GIS, CAD, etc). * Convert maps, plats, plans, surveys, and other documents into GIS data. * Prepares, updates, and maintains data, maps, charts, graphics, reports, and other documents. * Edits and maintains GIS data using ESRI software to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy of information. * Designs and develops GIS Databases for projects through collaboration with project stakeholders. * Prepares and publishes GIS services to ArcGIS Server for use in ArcGIS Online and Portal. * Builds, configures, and deploys Maps and Map Applications in ArcGIS Online and Portal. * Configures and maintains GPS and related equipment. * Performs GPS field data collection. * Work with 3rd party vendors to provide support for GIS, and GIS related projects, for various departments throughout the city. * Troubleshoots problems with GIS and related software, applications, tools, and data. * Provide GIS and general technology support for non-technical internal staff. * Stays current with the latest developments in GIS, and related fields. * Performs other duties as assigned. Must possess a bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science, or a related field, and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience in GIS, or a minimum of five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience relevant to the position. GISP Certification preferred. Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Oklahoma Class D Driver's License. Tasks involve the ability to work outdoors occasionally and possibly negotiate rough terrain.
