Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist-in-Charge, the Retail Pharmacist is responsible for the safe and accurate dispensing of medications while delivering high-quality patient care. Forensic Nurse As Needed Provide comprehensive forensic nursing care to victims of violence. The forensic nurse cares for patients across the lifespan that present to Meritus Health using evidence-based practice. Maintain clinical competency and participates in continuing education related to medical/forensic issues as outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing. Coordinates care with the multi-disciplinary team involved in the investigation and with other health care providers. Minimum Qualifications: Education - ASN required. BSN Preferred. Previously grandfathered active RN's who graduated from an accredited nursing school as a Diploma RN will continue to have ASN requirement waived. Experience - Minimum of one-year acute care experience preferred. Other nursing experience will be considered on a case by case basis. Licensure/Certification - Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, or if resident of a state that participates in Nurse Multi-State Compact agreement, holds Registered Nurse license from that state that is designated as “Compact” or “Multi-State Privilege” using primary source verification and provides additional documentation as required by the Maryland Board of Nursing. RN license from a compact state with a designation of “Single State” does not meet the requirement and nurse must obtain a Maryland license. This role ensures specimen integrity and patient safety by following standard operating procedures for identification, collection, labeling, processing, and handling. The Phlebotomist maintains a customer-focused approach and may perform draws in inpatient units, outpatient facilities, or nursing home settings. Essential Responsibilities: Produces consistently accurate work with strong attention to detail, reflecting a commitment to high-quality standards. Performs venipunctures and fingersticks using appropriate procedures and techniques. Communicates clearly and respectfully with patients, verifying identity by requesting full name and date of birth.
