Cindy Baier joined Brookdale as Chief Financial Officer in December 2015. She is a financial and operating leader with more than 25 years of broad, multi-industry experience in a variety of companies, including Fortune 100 public companies and private equity backed ventures. Cindy is a seasoned public CFO, with experience that includes retail and services companies, who started her career in a Big Five public accounting firm. She has a demonstrated ability to drive significant business improvement. Cindy is a collaborative Certified Public Accountant, experienced with strategic planning, M&A, capital markets, investor relations, accounting, financial planning and analysis, SEC reporting, tax, and treasury. Cindy is a graduate of Illinois State University, with Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Accounting.

Dawn Kussow is a SVP, Chief Accounting Officer at BROOKDALE SENIOR LIVING INC. and is based in Sussex, Wisconsin. She has worked as Vice President, Corporate Controller at BROOKDALE SENIOR LIVING INC.. Dawn attended Marquette University between 1991 and 1995.

Steve Swain, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, oversees the accounting, tax and financial reporting functions at DISH. Steve joined DISH in 2011 as Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis. Prior to DISH, Steve spent more than 15 years working in the telecommunications sector, most recently at CenturyLink, formerly Qwest Communications. There he served in multiple leadership roles across Finance, including corporate financial planning and analysis, treasury and investor relations, as well as in Network Engineering. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, Sherri, and their son.
