Job Description
Primary Responsibilities: The Build to Rent (BTR) Regional Operations Manager is primarily responsible for coordinating and managing many components of the BTR (Build to Rent) portfolio to ensure efficient day-to-day operations with Maymont Homes, BTR communities from construction to start-up and throughout stabilization for the properties in the applicable region. The Commercial Counsel works closely with each department, handling transactional and commercial legal matters related to the operation of the Company and advising on corporate and jurisdictional legal issues affecting the national parking organization, including ownership, management, leasing, and operation of The Parking Spot's facilities.
This role reports to the General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate and implement complex legal agreements, including Sales Agreements, Asset Management Agreements, IT Agreements, Marketing Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and Construction Agreements.
Lead and optimize the contract lifecycle management process, including template maintenance, approval workflows, obligation tracking, and process automation.
Support implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of CLM tools/systems.
Develop and refine contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines.
Conduct training sessions for business teams on contracting best practices, processes, and tool usage.
Negotiate and implement commercial leasing agreements.
Advise on legal rights and obligations relating to all Company legal agreements.
Advise on environmental issues related to real estate.
Advise on zoning and land use issues related to real estate.
Assist in Mergers and Acquisitions related transactions and related due diligence.
Develop and own execution of role‑specific department critical initiatives.
Independently and consistently deliver top‑quality work product on highly sophisticated and diverse tasks.
Negotiate, draft, and review a wide variety of complex commercial agreements, permits, and licenses.
Supervise outside counsel's work in support of transactional matters.
Support strategic projects and other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
Bar admission in any jurisdiction with good standing.
Minimum 3 years general corporate and transactional experience at a law firm and/or in‑house legal department.
Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements while shepherding those agreements through the deal lifecycle, providing business‑focused legal advice on federal and state laws and ensuring requisite internal policies and procedures are followed.
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial real estate transactions and advising on real estate legal issues, including land use and environmental compliance and obligations.
Exposure to corporate governance compliance and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage a diverse and complex workload while maintaining priorities and proactively anticipating issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Learning and Development Coordination
Create, schedule, and manage webinars, classroom training, and eLearning courses in the LMS recognized by ALCO.
Maintain the L&D calendar and ensure accurate posting of all learning events.
Manage attendance, enrollment, and completions in the LMS; run routine training and compliance reports.
Organize and coordinate New Employee Orientation, Property Manager Boot Camp, and other training programs.
Support feedback survey administration and compile insights for the Talent team.
Track LMS-related updates and changes and escalate issues as needed.
Talent Team Administrative Support
Provide scheduling, logistical, and communications support across the full Talent Division.
Assist with the preparation of materials, agendas, and follow-up documentation for Talent-led programs and meetings.
Maintain organized files, templates, training records, and internal Talent resources.
Support recruitment-related tasks such as scheduling, tracking, and coordination when needed.
Support Culture and Engagement programs and events as assigned.
Program and Project Coordination
Assist with planning and coordination of Talent initiatives, including onboarding improvements, engagement activities, learning launches, and policy rollouts.
Help document processes, update SOPs, and maintain Talent project timelines.
Generate routine correspondence and reports for Talent leadership.
Customer Service and Communication
Respond promptly to employee inquiries related to training, LMS login, scheduling, and Talent programs.
Provide excellent internal customer service through timely, accurate, and friendly support.
Communicate clearly with leaders, property teams, and central office staff regarding Talent initiatives and expectations.
Other Responsibilities
Provide on-site and virtual support for meetings, webinars, and learning events.
Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned to support the Talent Division.
Occasional overnight or air travel may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment supporting teams across properties and the central office. The Talent Coordinator balances multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders while providing both virtual and on-site support for meetings, training sessions, and Talent programs. KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Education
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Experience
Minimum two years of administrative support experience in training, HR, or project coordination; three years preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand instructions, ask clarifying questions, and write routine reports.
