Brookline Bank was founded on January 1, 1871 and has been serving the financial needs of their customers for over 150 years.

Bank Expansion And Reconstruction - 1952
By June 1953 those numbers had grown to capital of $450,000; surplus $1,100,000; undivided profits $160,000 and reserves $1,106,000.
On July 19, 1961, the bank opened a branch office with drive-through office on McNeilly Road, another banking first in the area.
The Brookline Savings and Trust Company followed in 1969.
After many years of service to the community, the Brookline Savings and Trust was sold in 1969.
Then, in October 2016 PNC Bank the Brookline Branch office.
