Transmission System Operator 12-month contract-to-hire Transmission System Operators play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the Bulk Electric System (BES). In this role, you will take and/or direct timely real-time actions to maintain system reliability during both normal and emergency conditions. Operators monitor system elements, respond to disturbances, support field personnel, and help maintain voltage and power flow across the transmission network. You will utilize Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems to control equipment, prepare and execute switching orders, coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, and maintain accurate operational logs.
