Job Description
As an Executive Desktop Support Specialist you will provide top-tier technical assistance to our C-level executives and senior management. This role demands excellent problem-solving skills, a calm and professional demeanor, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
You Are:
Customer oriented - You will need to be able to deliver a high level of customer support and training to colleagues at all levels of the company, and explain and resolve complex technical issues to a non-technical audience. You possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. In this role, you are the face of the Technology Team and the first person to provide assistance on a technology issue.
A self-starter - You are quick to respond to operational tasks and are able to find opportunities for process improvement and work with the Help Desk and greater Technology Team to achieve these goals. You possess the time management skills to prioritize your tasks.
A natural problem solver - You identify challenges, analyze the root causes, seek to understand rationale behind current setups, and offer changes to improve where needed.
Able to take ownership of tasks and see them to their resolution - When gaps in processes or a lack of accountability are identified, you take ownership and ensure that these needs are met.
Comfortable with a wide array of technology - We are responsible for supporting a number of technology systems and provide comprehensive support to employees that require support.
A team player - You will be working with teammates and supporting colleagues in multiple office locations. Being based in our Baltimore Office, you will be part of a local technology team and responsible for providing effective technology support to the Baltimore Office colleagues. Frequent travel to our other offices will be required. You will also work with the greater technology team and will need to be able to take into account differing office cultures and communication styles.
Key Responsibilities
Provide dedicated support to executives, ensuring their technology needs are met promptly.
Provide off-site support at executive properties.
Provide training and documentation to executives for new tools and software.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
Evaluate and manage inbound email phishing attempts.
Manage and resolve support tickets in a timely manner, with a focus on minimizing downtime.
Conduct regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure system integrity and security.
Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues swiftly.
Maintain accurate records of support activities and asset management.
Deliver support during scheduled on-call support hours.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of proven experience in a desktop support role, with previous experience supporting particularly with executive-level clients.
Strong knowledge of Windows and mac OS operating systems, as well as mobile OS (iOS/Android).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
Possess experience with Salesforce.
Understanding of enterprise security remediation and patch management.
Familiarity with AV systems and remote conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, WebEx).
Familiarity with the ITIL framework and ITIL methodologies.
Ability to act as a resource or a lead on technology projects.
Ability to serve as a point of contact for third party vendors and technicians.
Occasional travel, including international trips
This position requires a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays and on call/after hours.
Preferred Qualifications

The candidate will support the research process with the performance of fundamental research across regions, countries, and companies within developed global markets. This role will require credit research expertise surrounding industry trends, business models, company fundamentals, capital structures, and fixed income instruments such as bonds, floating-rate notes, convertibles, and derivatives. Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct fundamental research across various countries, sectors, and companies
Create and communicate investment recommendations, including financial models, investment memos, and presentations

Oversee portfolio holdings, including quarterly earnings and other significant event updates

Job Description
Brown Advisory is currently seeking an experienced Fixed Income Attribution Specialist to lead and own fixed income data used by the Global Fixed Income Investment Team. This analyst will have a deep understanding of and passion for fixed income data and securities. This analyst will be responsible for the aggregation, analysis, communication, and validation of fixed income data that supports portfolio reporting and risk management activities. The candidate will be expected to manage data from and between various sources, including internal portfolio accounting systems and external data platforms such as Bloomberg PORT and FactSet. The analyst will be responsible for the portfolio reporting lifecycle by overseeing transactional and holdings data, analysis of performance metrics, and the thorough examination of attribution factors. A successful candidate will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including portfolio management, compliance, operations, and technology teams.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Own daily and monthly calculation of performance returns across Fixed Income investments
Deliver performance, attribution and ex-post risk statistics for Fixed Income accounts and funds.
Provide detailed explanations to fund managers on performance numbers, with a strong focus on fixed income attribution analysis.
Interface with Investment team to understand strategy thesis and ensure reporting in line with investment team needs.
Reconcile transaction and security data across portfolio accounting, portfolio analytics, and custodian data.
Maintain strong relationships with the fund managers and fixed income investment specialists.
Ensure that queries are investigated appropriately and resolved within specified timeframes.
Provide training, guidance, and support to junior team members.
Analyze current processes and identify areas needed for improvement.
Troubleshoot any reporting or operational process errors, then propose and implement solutions.
Analyze and interpret relevant investment data, including portfolio positions, transactions, and performance.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or CFA and/or relevant experience preferred.
5+ years' experience working with and analyzing complex fixed income data sets.

This position will be responsible for the oversight and direction of the corporate tax function, which includes corporate and partnership tax responsibilities. Duties/Responsibilities of Position
The duties of this position include but are not limited to:
Develop and lead global tax strategy goals, balancing firm and unitholder implications
Advise executive management of the global tax implications of business activities and strategic initiatives as well as tax risks the company faces; Offer viable solutions to reduce the risks
Ensure compliance with US and international tax laws and regulations
Advise and design strategies for transactions, acquisitions and other initiatives to minimize tax risk and maximize tax efficiency.
Lead a global team of 5+ tax professionals to plan, manage, and review all international, federal, state and local corporate and partnership tax returns and tax provisions for Brown Advisory
Oversee international (primarily UK) tax reporting requirements and develop transfer pricing strategy in conjunction with our third-party vendors
Provide oversight for the holding company's 800+ K-1's; Partner with the Equity and Strategic Advisory teams to proactively communicate tax related matters to colleague and external unitholders
Conduct tax research and draft memorandum on a variety of corporate related tax issues as required
Your Education, Technical Skills, and Preferred Experiences Include:
15+ years of relevant industry experience
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, law or another related field
CPA License or Masters of Tax preferred
Prior experience with corporate & partnership tax compliance & research required, including Subchapter K
Prior International, UK specific, experience a plus
Ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax business partners and stakeholders

Brown Advisory is currently seeking an experienced custodial relationship manager to own and lead our strategic relationships with custodians in pursuit of the best possible outcomes for our clients. This manager will liaise with numerous counterparts at custodians to track performance, improve process, educate our client teams, and resolve issues. A successful candidate will develop strong relationships with custodial contacts, internal stakeholders, compliance, operations, and technology teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Build and manage a custodial management program that promotes partnership favorable to our clients and the firm. Establish and hold custodial partners to clear service level agreements.
Lead and continuously strengthen Brown Advisory's relationship with custodian banks with a focus on improving service and process.
Proactively identify new strategic services and opportunities for improved service levels with custodian banks and vendor partners. Lead integration projects for these new offerings.
Track and measure service level of providers, recommend plans of action, and implement continuous improvement to deliver results.
Lead resolution of ad-hoc inquires and business needs with custodian banks; lead internal groups as appropriate to deliver resolution to inquiries and concerns.
Oversee and track all vendor partner relationships for the Operations Group; report on status of vendor relationships to Executives and Management on a regular basis.
Execute ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives for the business; partner with groups internally including, but not limited to, Private Client, Institutional Sales and Service, Technology and Infrastructure to deliver key results.
Oversee the execution of vendor scorecards and develop strategic initiatives that resolve existing pain points and/or promote improved client experiences.

Position Summary

The Physical Security Technology Lead will be responsible for daily support of the security technology systems at Brown Advisory, to include, alarms, access control measures, visitor management systems, and other related components. * Proactively perform client account activities, such as new account onboarding, asset transfers, online enrollment, document delivery, and customized reporting.
* Prepare investment-related documents for client signature, including investment management agreements, letters of authorization, and fee schedules.
* Maintain CRM records for clients and prospects.
* Complete ad hoc client-related projects as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's required; degree in Finance or Business preferred
* 2+ years financial industry or client service experience preferred
* Experience with trust administration and/or client account documentation a plus
* Proficiency with M.S. Office suite including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
* Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpersonal skills
* Highly organized work style; detail-oriented and accurate

Position Summary
Brown Advisory is currently seeking a professional, energetic and detail-oriented individual to fill the Financial Analyst position within our Baltimore, Washington D.C, or Boston office locations with primary responsibility for financial reporting, with a specific focus on internal reporting, data modeling and analysis. This position is designed to allow for rewarding career growth and opportunities for advancement within the finance function of a global independent investment management and strategic advisory firm.
We expect the Financial Analyst to:

Work independently and follow tasks through to completion and meet commitments, proactively seeking guidance as necessary.
Have a positive attitude and the desire to provide impeccable support to Brown Advisory team members. You will regularly interact with team members within and outside the finance team, providing high levels of customer service. You have an ability to communicate directly, concisely and with a balanced tone, on paper and verbally, formally and informally.
The primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assists with preparation of monthly financial packages and variance analysis.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of large datasets and identify process improvements in financial operations.
Manage multiple data-intensive tasks while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Identify trends and propose data-centric solutions to enhance performance or identify risks.
Provide financial and strategic support to senior management and the owners, including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, and other projects.
Analyzes complex financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a set of outcomes.
Continuously assess and improve reporting processes.
Utilize key performance indicators to identify inefficiencies across/within business lines.
Handle other ad hoc FP&A tasks as needed, with a focus on data management
Stay updated with educational opportunities and professional networks.
Desired Qualifications:
Recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Mathematics.
Strong interest and skills in managing and analyzing large datasets.
Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, or Snowflake is highly desirable.
Excellent quantitative, technical, and critical-thinking skills.
MD Salary: $65 - 75k Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
DC Salary: $71.5k - 82.5k Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
