Communicate with CPAs and attorneys to analyze and answer questions concerning partnership K-1s, trust beneficiary K-1s and grantor tax letters. Maintain correspondence with the IRS and various state taxing authorities. Recommend tax efficient strategies by researching federal, state, and local taxation issues. Provide additional expertise in the review, interpretation, and implementation of new or revised tax laws and be able to explain tax law and implications to others. Research and complete special projects as they arise - be able to think creatively and strategically. Qualifications: Three to five (3-5) years of tax experience in public accounting, a family office or with a financial institution's private client business.
