Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our OCIO Investment Team. This individual will play a senior role in managing multi-asset class portfolios, advising clients, and driving OCIO investment strategy. The ideal candidate will combine strong investment expertise with a client-first mindset, capable of both leading portfolio construction and fostering trusted relationships with boards, committees, and stakeholders.

As a senior member of the OCIO Investment Team:
* Lead the design, construction, and ongoing management of customized multi-asset portfolios.
* Oversee asset allocation, risk management, and rebalancing strategies.
* Conduct manager selection and due diligence across traditional and alternative asset classes.
* Contribute to the firm's overall investment philosophy, research agenda, and capital market views.
* Serve as the lead investment advisor for a set of institutional clients.
* Monitor portfolio performance, attribution, and liquidity, providing actionable recommendations.

* Build long-term, consultative relationships, ensuring alignment with each client's objectives, risk tolerance, and governance structure.
* Partner with client service and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of investment solutions.
* Mentor and develop junior investment professionals.
* Collaborate with business development to support new client growth and retention.
* Uphold fiduciary standards, regulatory compliance, and best practices in portfolio management.
Qualifications:
Specific qualifications for the Portfolio Manager position include:
* Minimum of 10+ years of investment experience required, within an Endowment or other OCIO firm preferred
* CFA and/or MBA required
* Must be an experienced investor who is creative, innovative, and possesses a high level of familiarity across a broad range of investment strategies and client management disciplines
* Is self-motivated, a team player and has experience mentoring junior team members
* Must be dedicated to the "client first" principles of the firm and must possess uncompromising personal integrity
* Ability to work in our Boston, Richmond, Charlottesville, or Baltimore office location; Preference on Boston and Charlottesville locations

Position Summary
Private Client Service delivers highly customized and comprehensive service to our clients. As a key member of this team, the Relationship Associate will execute on a range of client requests while maintaining proactive account administration. Prepare investment-related documents for client signature, including investment management agreements, letters of authorization, and fee schedules.
Maintain CRM records for clients and prospects.
Complete ad hoc client-related projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
2+ years financial industry or client service experience preferred
Experience with trust administration and/or client account documentation a plus
Proficiency with M.S. Office suite including Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Manage projects to create or improve reporting content and/or advance strategic business goals
Analyze and interpret relevant investment data, including portfolio positions, transactions, and performance
Support clients through their various events (i.e. an audit) and ensure accurate information is provided to 3rd party vendors
Build rapport across the firm's operational teams and collaborate to solve challenges
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or related subject
2-5 years of investment or reporting experience
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Curiosity of capital markets and an intention to pursue Chartered Financial Analyst designation
Strong attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple workstreams
Flexibility and the willingness to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
Professional maturity, keen judgement, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong Microsoft Excel (VBA is a plus) and PowerPoint skills
Knowledge of FactSet/Tableau/Advent/Bloomberg is an advantage
Ability to work in an office location

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of administration and client service for high net worth families and family offices
Effective communication with both internal and external contacts including prospects and clients
Understanding of trusts, foundations and LLC structures
Organize and manage meetings from start to finish
Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and external contacts
Account maintenance (opening new accounts, managing transactions, address changes, etc.)
Understand basic fiduciary issues relevant to client relationships
Proactive resolution of client inquiries - direct client contact
Handling/supervision of cash processing for assigned accounts
Collaborate with outside advisors concerning client's personal, trust and other entities tax information
Prepare letters and other client communications
Complete customized analyses and spreadsheets for specific projects
Process customized client reporting
Strong understanding of competitor and industry products and services
Successfully cultivate strong relationships with functional groups across the firm
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience
Experience with Trusts and Fiduciary accounts
Knowledge of a variety of accounting tasks involving the preparation and maintenance of financial records
Strong management skills and leadership experience
Desire to learn and the ability to learn quickly
Detail oriented
Superior client service skills
Illustrates tact, discretion, and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Strives for innovation and process improvement
