Detailed Description
* Advise project teams involved in design-build and related projects, either in a contractor role, designer role, or both, as to appropriate contractual terms in a variety of settings.
* Review RFPs and the associated contracts, provide contract risk assessments including proposed contract changes and exceptions and suggest risk mitigation measures.
* Be responsible to draft and review a variety of agreements, including NDAs, teaming agreements, joint ventures, prime contracts, and subcontracts.
* Maintain close working relationships with applicable leadership team, sales and delivery managers, other members of the legal department, as well as other internal core services groups necessary to achieve comprehensive review and risk assessment (cybersecurity, tax, insurance, etc.).
* Serve as one of the organization's contacts to address questions related to existing contracts and contract processes.
* Prioritize between multiple projects on a time-sensitive basis.
Desired Skills and Experience
* A minimum of 8 years working as a contracts manager or similar role
* Substantial knowledge and experience with design-build projects and standard contract forms (such as DBIA and EJCDC), preferably in the water and wastewater industry
* Experience building strong relationships with project teams and influencing decisions
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of related experience
* Senior level experience negotiating contracts with a pragmatic, flexible negotiation style based on sound business acumen

As a Program Manager, you will provide expert leadership towards the successful strategy, planning, and execution of programs. Minimum Qualifications
* A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, business, or construction management or related degree.

* Experience in key program management areas such as program delivery, strategy development, benefits management, stakeholder engagement, governance, and change management.
* Familiarity with various project delivery methods, including Progressive Design Build (PDB), Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), and Design-Bid-Build (DBB).
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively, listen, and interact diplomatically with staff and clients at all organizational levels.
* Proven experience in client service engagement and business development.
* Capability to convey ideas and concepts visually and in writing.

What we are looking for As a Field Technician II at SCS Engineers, under general supervision operate, monitors, and maintains landfill gas migration control/recovery systems; provide long-term post closure care at closed landfill sites. Additionally, may operate, monitor, and maintain other environmental pollution control systems including VES (Vapor Extraction Systems) and GWP&T (Ground Water Pump and Treat). How you can make an impact
* Field sampling of various test locations including wells, probes, headers, blowers, flares, pumps, etc.
* Data recording and analysis.
* Based on data review and consultation with supervisor, adjusts gas flow rates from wells, headers, and blowers (pumps).
* Operates and maintains various analytical equipment including calibration.
* Records and maintains daily field logs reporting data collected, field observations, actions taken, and recommended actions to be taken.
* Reports/consults with supervisor (and in some instances client) regarding field conditions and test results.
* Implements necessary routine and non-routine repairs and maintenance required to keep systems operating and in compliance with various prescribed operating parameters and goals.
* Perform, supervise, and/or otherwise assist in required maintenance and repairs.
* Interact/supervise/manage vendors and/or sub-contractors needed to assist with operating, monitoring, and maintenance of the control/recovery systems.
* Conduct on-site Health and Safety meetings (tailgate meetings) and verify that Health and Safety standards are followed by on-site staff and sub-contractors.
* Walks the landfill with an air-monitoring instrument to perform surface emission monitoring.
* Use of tools, ladders, portable saws, and generators to cut pipe to raise or repair gas well piping.
* Use grinders and extrusion welding equipment to repair or expand gas system or leachate piping.
* May be required to operate backhoe and/or forklifts to remove soil and lift piping and equipment to perform non-routine repairs on gas system and leachate piping.
* Lift manhole covers and enter sumps or vaults to obtain well measurements or tune gas wells.
* Repair leachate or condensate pumps. Lift and lower repaired pumps into vaults or sumps.
* Complete site check list and inform supervisor of any changes or concerns.
* Participates in monthly tailgate Health and Safety meeting. Participates in monthly Health and Safety (SOP) training.
* Prepares daily logs for work performed on sites during workday.
* Actively participate in the SAFE process by making observations, review and assist in the development of the project health and safety plans including the associated Job Task Safety Analyses.
* Assists Laborers, Field Technician II, Senior Field Technicians, Equipment Operators, Foreman or other staff.
Qualifications
* 40 hour Health and Safety, 8 hour Management and Supervisor, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120, Confined Space Entry, and Trench Excavation Safety training.
* High school diploma preferred.
* Training in polyethylene pipe fusion for construction or, combustible gas sensor and/or ground flare O&M.
* Zero to three years in O&M of mechanical systems or pipeline construction.
* Experience or demonstrated high degree of aptitude in mechanical work; analytical problem solving and data analysis; interpretation of plans, specifications, schematics, manufacturer manuals, system operation and maintenance manuals; interpretation of applicable codes and regulations.
* Effective organizational as well as written and verbal communication skills. Meet physical requirements for driving (pick-up truck), walking inspection of improved and unimproved property, lifting and carrying equipment/mechanical components (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), hand excavation/digging (using shovels/picks), carrying and climbing ladders, operating and working from manlifts, operating electric tools (drills, saws, etc.), using hand tools (screw drivers, wrenches, hammers, etc.) and providing services under varying weather conditions.

Brown and Caldwell (BC) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil or Environmental Engineer experienced in water/wastewater planning and design. The candidate will work closely with the local Salt Lake City team and a national bench of practice leaders to deliver some of the most challenging water and wastewater projects in the region.
BC is 100 percent environmental and 100 percent employee-owned; this means BC is large enough to pursue and execute any project and focused enough to maintain a strong culture.

Detailed Description:
BC has multiple water and wastewater projects under design and construction in the western US, including in Utah and Texas, that involve planning, design, and construction. These include all elements of water/wastewater treatment facilities as well as pump stations and piping infrastructure. The selected candidate will be expected to support delivery of these ongoing projects and also be expected to position for future work with clients which includes municipalities and regional water and sewer districts. This role will include working on teams as a senior project engineer, project manager, or design manager. It is anticipated the role will include progressively increasing client facing and client management opportunities. The candidate will be expected to support and eventually lead multi-discipline design teams, give technical guidance, adjudicate challenging client requests, be part of project pursuits, be present in the marketplace via professional organizations, mentor rising professionals, and collaborate with national experts to bring the best solutions to the projects assigned. It is anticipated that projects and clients in Utah will be priority with opportunity to support BC across the western US and Texas. Opportunities to spend time on site during construction to be part of construction management teams do exist.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Support and eventually lead interdisciplinary teams to complete master plans and detailed designs of water or wastewater treatment, pumping, storage and conveyance facilities.
* Serve as Engineer of Record for detailed design of water/wastewater facilities under guidance of BC Subject Matter Experts and Chief Engineers.
* Adhere to BC Quality Assurance procedures.
* Stay current with industry treatment practices and collaborating regularly with BC's Practice Leaders.
* Supervise and mentor rising professionals.
* Review work done by others such as geotechnical reports, memos and pilot studies to determine applicability to designs.
* Prepare written reports and technical memoranda to document analyses and recommendations.
* Participate in client and internal meetings to support and advance project work.
* Be present on site to support construction teams as part of construction management staff as needed; this would include construction observation, RFI response, and submittal review.
* Participate in proposal teams or serve as pursuit leader where BC is pursuing new opportunities.
* Participate in professional organizations such as Water Environment Association of Utah (WEAU) or American Water Works Association Intermountain Section (AWWA-IMS) through committee assignments or presentations.
* Build lasting and professional relationships across the office and BC's national practice through collaboration, embracing BC standards, and providing input when those standards and methods need improvement.
* Participate in outreach to organizations such as universities to identify future candidates to support continued growth of the local office and region.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field.
* Minimum 4 years of increasingly responsible experience in municipal civil engineering with focus in water and wastewater projects. Projects that will be viewed more favorably include water/wastewater treatment facility planning and design and/or planning and design of water/wastewater pumping and conveyance facilities.
* P.E. required in Utah or ability to gain reciprocity with 6 months of hire.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Utah or the ability to obtain within six months is preferred but not required, depending on the candidate's background.
Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in engineering, planning, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and working with Utah-based clients (e.g., UDOT, local governments) is highly desirable.
Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $180,000-200,000+.
Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses, and our salaries are reviewed annually. Our compensation structure prioritizes transparency and internal pay equity.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking professional, motivated, and intelligent candidates to fill one Senior Archaeologist role for our Federal NEPA, NHPA, and Environmental Compliance and Permitting team. The candidate selected will become a part of the Tetra Tech Environmental Government Services cultural resources team and will conduct a variety of field, reporting, and project management tasks to support DoD and other Federal contracts.
The ideal candidate will meet the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Archaeology and Historic Preservation, have a minimum of four years in cultural resource management and extensive experience managing large archaeological projects in the Western United States and Pacific/Oceania region. The candidate should have excellent technical writing skills and the ability to produce reports for review by subject matter experts of federal, state, and tribal agencies under Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act and the National Environmental Policy Act, among other historic preservation laws/regulations. Candidates should be able to lead all phases of field work, oversee the production of work plans, management summaries, and technical reports in addition to managing laboratory analysis, QA/QC of GIS data, and participating in business development.
This is a full-time salaried position. that requires US citizenship due to the clients we serve.
Responsibilities:• Serve a leading role in the preparation of all work plans, letter reports, and technical reports; ensure accuracy of site recordation and data collection; oversee the execution of survey, site testing, data recovery, and monitoring.
* Interface closely with points of contact with the DoD, DoD cooperators, land agencies, and subcontractors.
* Interface with Native American Tribes, Pacific Islanders, Native Hawaiian Organizations, and Tribal Cultural Specialists to record sites of cultural or religious significance.
* Support Section 106 consultation with SHPOs, THPOs, and other stakeholders.
* Report on the daily work of crew chiefs, field directors, and field crews and interface with project managers.
* Provide technical guidance and expertise to others in support of their functions.
* Provide QA/QC of field data from large archaeological survey crews.
* Coordinate technical crew members, including field directors and crew chiefs, to complete assigned tasks. Serving as a field director may be required based upon the project.
* Assist with training and mentoring cultural resource staff on themes such as the Section 106 process, developing historic contexts and research designs, evaluating site eligibility and project effects, and site recording protocols.
* Develop, track, and maintain field schedules.
* Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
* Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge, and awareness.
* Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
* Additional duties as required.

Education & Experience:
* Master's Degree in Anthropology/Archaeology.
* A minimum of four years of archaeological experience, particularly in the Western Unites States and Pacific/Oceania Regions.
* Archaeological experience in other CONUS. and OCONUS regions is also valued.
* Prior experience writing work plans, management summaries, technical reports, and NEPA cultural sections is required. Proficiency with ESRI products including Survey123, FieldMaps, and ArcPro is required.
* Proven history of Section 106 consultation with SHPOs, THPOs, and government agencies.
* Prior experience carrying large projects through to completion, with a demonstrated record of overseeing survey, evaluative testing, data recovery, and monitoring efforts, is required.
* Direct experience with DoD clients is highly desired.
* Previous work with SHPOs/HPOs in the Western United States and Pacific/Oceania Region (e.g., California, Guam, Hawaii, Mariana Islands, and Japan) is highly desired.
This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Physical Demands:
. The position frequently performs work in a field environment, primarily in the mountainous and coastal geographic settings. Field work will involve traversing uneven terrain, remaining stationary and traversing or moving for extended periods of time and will require lifting up to 50 pounds. However, the position will also require periods of work in an (remote) office environment with movement typically needed in an office environment. Note that office work can be fully remote.
Work Environment:
This work is principally performed in a field environment and the employee will be required to travel for field work to complete site investigation and data gathering. The employee may be required to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions as needed to maintain project schedules. Components of the work will also be performed in an office setting, from a home office or in a Tetra Tech office, depending on a candidate's preference.
Language & Communication Skills:
The employee must be fluent in the English language and able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. The employee may be required to make presentations at conferences and to clients, and the employee will be responsible for providing high quality written products to include presentations, reports, and proposals.
Mathematical Skills: The employee must be able to perform basic math as needed to support data collection and project management (i.e., overseeing project logistics and providing accurate schedule and progress updates).
Other Skills:

An employee in this remote based position can expect a salary range of $68,000-$89,000.
