1981

Since 1981, this passion as been passed down to the current owners, Don and Janet Turner (Jack’s son-in-law and daughter ) who ensure that the founder’s commitment to excellence is paramount in all facets of a construction project.

1983

In the 1983, Kenny Brown shifted the organization’s focus once again: this time to tape converting.

1998

In 1998, still a Halliburton subsidiary, Brown & Root merged with M.W. Kellogg creating KBR, one of the world’s premiere engineering, procurement, construction and services companies.

2006

In 2006, KBR separated from Halliburton.

2015

In July 2015, KBR partnered with Bernhard Capital Partners (BCP), spinning off its Industrial Services Americas division to establish Brown & Root Industrial Services.

2020

According to available information, 33% of projects in 2020 had no reported payment incidents.
