As a seasonal support driver (SSD), you'll deliver packages to communities and businesses in the comfort of your own vehicle. This is a friendly, physically active role, so you'll need to enjoy fast-paced work, being outdoors, and safely being behind the wheel.
This position requires schedule flexibility since work will be assigned in the morning based on operational needs and your availability.

General Statement of Duties
The Custodial Worker is responsible for performing custodial duties to ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of all college facilities. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy and welcoming environment that supports the educational mission of Blackfeet Community College. The Custodial Worker will follow health and safety protocols to contribute to a safe learning environment and will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager. Duties include routine cleaning, sanitizing, waste removal, and responding to special cleaning needs as they arise. This position will adhere to Blackfeet Community College's mission, vision, and core themes.
Specific Area of Duties
· Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other work areas.
· Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors.
· Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
· Dust furniture and equipment.
· Polish metalwork.
· Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
· Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
· Empty wastebaskets; transport trash and waste to disposal area.
· Clean and disinfect toilets and urinals.

Housing Specialist Responsibilities Include:
Perform administrative tasks listed below:
Perform move-in and move-out inspections.
Complete and obtain signature for Occupancy Agreements.
Submit work orders to contractor major maintenance tasks.
Review and recommend approval for completed work.
Coordinate administrative/maintenance duties with the regional CBP housing program managers.
Responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of CBP Houses.
Respond to service requests submitted by CBP Housing occupants, initiate/coordinate correction action with the Government to identify and repair requirements during normal working hours.
Respond to emergency service requests submitted by CBP Housing occupants and callback response work requests immediately (within the shortest possible time consistent with the staff's location) during normal working hours and within two (2) hours when the work request is made outside normal working hours. Remain on-site until the emergency has been secured and adequate temporary repairs have been made. This after-hours work is supported with overtime pay when required above normal 40-hour work week. Typical issues are related to the need to restart furnaces, generator starts or plumbing issues.
Work to get permanent repairs accomplished as soon as practicable.
Provide a written account of any emergency callbacks, to include costs incurred and a plan for permanent correction of the problem, to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or designee the morning of the next working day.
Respond to urgent service requests are those requests where the work consists of correcting failures that interrupt or otherwise adversely affect the occupants. Urgent service requests may be referred to as un-scheduled maintenance that does not meet the emergency service status and has a higher priority than the routine service status.
Respond to urgent work requests within two (2) hours during normal working hours.
Respond to routine work requests and have a vendor complete the required work within forty-eight (48) hours of notification. Routine service requests may also be referred to as either predictive, preventative or scheduled maintenance.
Notify the Government Lead with a written extension request if the forty-eight (48) hours period will be exceeded. Where normal working hours end in less than four (4) hours from receipt of the service request, the four (4) hour period shall constitute time from initiation of the service request to the end of normal working hours, plus such additional time the next working day as to constitute forty-eight (48) hours.

General Statement of Duties
Under the supervision of the Workforce Development Director, this individual will be responsible for instructing the Meat Processing courses, assisting the Workforce Development Director in researching documentation for development of curriculum/instruction materials, advising students, serving on committees to accomplish the department and BCC goals and objectives in accordance with the established BCC standards and procedures.
Specific Area of Duties
· Instruct a minimum of 12-15 credits per semester to assure adequate scheduling for students who wish to work toward a certificate or two-year degree in accordance with published BCC Catalogs.
· Identify current information to use as library resource materials. Research material/instructional documents to use in instruction, research, readings, or supportive materials for the department.
· Participate in the advising process for One Year Certificate in Meat Processing. This includes but is not limited to being available during pre-registration and regular registration, maintaining consistent office hours, maintaining contact with students throughout the semester, and maintaining advising records and two-year education plans. If a student identifies any special needs, this must be communicated to the counselors for proper follow up.
· Assist the Workforce Development Director on articulation of courses relevant to the transfer of these specific courses to other TCCCs and to four-year degree granting institutions.
· Serve as an active member on the Curriculum Committee to coordinate the total instructional program at BCC to provide and maintain the highest quality educational services that includes up to date educational information.
· Work with the Workforce Development Director to establish an advisory committee with a broad spectrum of representatives to guide/assist in enhancing the division and curriculum. This committee should meet at least one time per year with minutes distributed and a follow up made with the Vice-President for Academic Affairs and the Curriculum Committee as needed.
· Maintain liaison with reservation community, relevant tribal programs, government, schools and individuals to utilize resources available in the community.
· Assist the Workforce Development Director in maintaining records, curriculum information, student records, course syllabi and outlines, activities held, book orders, attendance records, grade records, advising files, education plans, referrals, instructor withdrawals, etc., and have available upon request.
· Provide required assistance and documentation in working with Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
· Complete student course evaluations on a semester basis.
· Assist on special projects, ad-hoc committees, as directed or required by the Workforce Development Director or Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Workforce Development & Lifelong Learning.
· Develop and deliver instruction in meat processing, including theory and practical skills such as: animal slaughter and carcass breakdown, meat cutting and fabrication, sanitation and food safety, USDA regulations and compliance, equipment operation and maintenance.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and USDA-compliant meat processing lab environment
· Provide demonstrations and hands-on training using industry-standard tools and equipment.
· Ensure students adhere to safety and sanitary protocols at all times.
· Maintain inventory of supplies and order materials as needed
· Prepare reports as required.
· Collaborate with colleagues, industry partners, and administration to enhance program offerings.
· Participate in professional development and maintain industry certifications (if applicable)
· Work with College Readiness instructors for seamless transition into regular courses.
· Other duties necessary to the function of BCC, as needed.
Qualifications
· Associate of Applied Science in Construction Technology or related field.
· At least three years' experience in relevant area, with 1 year at an adult or higher education institution required.

This person is required to have an extensive knowledge of the principles, techniques and ethics of instruction, particularly with Native Americans and Adult and Higher Education. The person needs to have working knowledge of advising, research techniques and how to develop curriculum.

Physical Demands
Work is performed in a normal office/classroom environment. Normal demands of office/classroom work are applicable. Walking, standing, and sitting at a desk is required. Some lifting will be required, i.e., books, equipment and other miscellaneous materials. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Active, Unrestricted Medical License - Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Montana, any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

* Provide professional information and education services to patients and to other health services workers as appropriate.
* Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments according to policies and procedures.

Summary:To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): All specialized experience must meet the following: (a) Technical medical laboratory support work such as performing laboratory tests and examinations (chemical, microbiologic, hematologic and blood banking) and preparing reports of findings or (b) technical support work in a closely related field, e.g., biological laboratory technician work, that required application of the methods and techniques for the position to be filled. In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate the following education and/or experience as outlined below for the grade level(s) you are applying to. Any specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the tasks as identified. GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: instruct patients on specimen collection; operate and maintain laboratory and phlebotomy equipment; perform routine tests on blood, urine, and other specimens; perform venipuncture and capillary collections; prepare reagents and media following detailed instructions or guidelines; label, clean, and sterilize instruments and work areas; log referral specimens; maintain supply inventory and monitor expiration dates. OR A Bachelor's degree with major study in medical or clinical laboratory or a related field such as chemistry and/or the biological sciences; OR A Bachelor's degree in any field that includes at least 24 semester hours in subjects appropriate to the position to be filled. Eligible courses may include: chemistry, hematology, blood banking, microbiology, or the biological sciences. OR A combination of education and experience. GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: instruct patients on proper specimen collection and preservation; prepare and preserve specimen for analysis or referral following established procedures; performs patient phlebotomy via venipuncture and capillary methods ensuring correct patient identification; performs routine and standard clinical laboratory tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, serology, immunology and blood banking; evaluate test results and recognize normal and abnormal findings; operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and troubleshoot issues; maintain records of quality control and equipment performance; prepare reagents and ensure temperature, humidity, and equipment standards are met; maintain laboratory records, quality control data, and reports using manual and computerized systems; adhere to federal standards and regulations to support continuous quality improvement processes. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: instruct patients and staff on proper specimen collection, preservation and transport procedures; collect and process patient specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques; verify identification, labeling, and specimen integrity; perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests across multiple sections in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, serology, immunology, and blood banking to support patient diagnosis and treatment; evaluate and interpret test results; identify deviations from norm and report abnormalities to supervisor or senior laboratory staff; calibrate and operate analytical instruments to independently perform recurring tests; perform preventive maintenance and record laboratory equipment performance; communicate findings to healthcare providers; document quality control activities in compliance with federal standards and regulations; assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
