Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:

Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level. Promotions are at the discretion of the agency.
Officers are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, a generous annual and sick leave program, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan, a retirement plan akin to a traditional and ROTH 401(k) offering.

You qualify for the GS-5 grade level if you possess one of the following:

Effingham - Feed Delivery (2nd Shift) The Feed Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of bulk and bagged feed to customers while maintaining compliance with HACCP guidelines, FDA Good Manufacturing Practices, and company safety policies. This role includes loading feed trucks according to customer orders, performing daily inspections and maintenance of the vehicle, and completing all required paperwork accurately. The position also involves assisting customers in a courteous and professional manner and supporting feed production tasks, including cleaning and maintenance, when needed.

Key Responsibilities
* Follow all established personnel and safety policies and procedures.
* Follow all HACCP guidelines
* Load feed trucks per customer orders and follow established procedures to meet FDA Good Manufacturing Practices, Feed Quality Assurance and feed plant requirements
* Delivery of bulk feed and bagged feed to customers
* Helping customers in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner
* Responsible for daily inspection and maintenance of truck
* Complete all paperwork daily
* Assist feed production when needed including cleaning and maintenance
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics
* Self-motivating personality as well as team building skills
* Demonstrates ability to interact effectively with management and customers
* Illinois Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Class A
* Good driving record
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
Work Environment
While performing the duties of the job, the employee works near moving, mechanical equipment and in outside weather conditions; including exposure to fumes and airborne particles, grain dust and vibrations. Occasionally climbs and works in high places and exposed weather elements. Noise level in work environment is usually loud.
