Teacher Aide I:

Qualifying experience may include work in church-related schools, day camps, youth groups, private schools, licensed day-care centers, or similar experience.
If the applicant does not hold a TEA Educational Aide certification or a certification substitute allowed by the job description, the applicant will sign an Agreement to Obtain Certification - Teacher Aides, HR 401ta, upon being hired. The teacher aide must obtain the Educational Aide certification within six (6) months of employment.
