    BSA is seeking a design-driven Architect to join our St. Louis studio. In this role, you will take a leading hand in shaping environments that support healing, learning, and discovery. You will contribute to impactful projects where design excellence and purpose go hand in hand. What You'll Do: Lead the design process in collaboration with design principals and senior architects, from early concept through documentation. Develop compelling design narratives and visual presentations to communicate ideas to clients and teams. Translate complex programmatic and client needs into innovative, functional, and inspiring design solutions. Oversee the preparation of design documentation, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout while aligning conceptual design objectives with project specific detailing. Coordinate and support the architectural design delivery process across all disciplines ensuring all team members are working in coordination with the project vision Participate in project reviews and lead design discussions that elevate the quality of work. Balance creativity with project constraints, including scope, budget, and schedule. Mentor emerging designers and share insights around design thinking and project storytelling. Engage in lessons learned reviews to continuously improve design outcomes. Education and Experience: Education: Accredited Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture. Licensure: Registered Architect with current registration. NCARB certification preferred. Experience: 7-15 years of architectural experience, including significant involvement in design. Prior work in healing, learning, or discovery environments preferred. Strong design portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving across project types. Ability to clearly articulate design intent to both internal teams and external clients. A point of view on the future of architecture and awareness of current trends and innovation.
