The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing 1-2 ground-up commercial projects at a time, typically valued at $10m+, with $30m projects being the core focus. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Manage ground-up commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion
Take full ownership of programme, budget, quality, and safety
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams
Work closely with clients, consultants, and inspectors to ensure smooth project delivery
Lead project meetings and provide accurate reporting on cost, schedule, and risk
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to contractual standards
Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction
Background delivering ground-up projects in retail, industrial, and/or healthcare
Experience managing projects $10m+ in value, ideally with exposure around the $30m range
Strong understanding of construction means and methods
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities across 1-2 concurrent projects
