Required & Preferred Certifications Preferred: Third Class Stationary Engineer License (CCE), or High-Pressure Boiler Operator License through the Ohio Department of Commerce. Internship experience may substitute with an active Third-Class Stationary Engineer License or High-Pressure Boiler Operator License. Military backgrounds such as Machinist's Mate (MM) or Electric Power Production (3E0X2) strongly considered. Knowledge of combustion controls, water chemistry, and water-conditioning systems required. Experience operating steam turbines preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to move or transport items, carts, and equipment 100 lbs or more. Capable of inspecting, installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment. The Finishing Window Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining high-speed carton windowing equipment used in the finishing department. Load paperboard blanks and window film rolls, aligning them to meet job requirements. Calibrate glue application systems and placement guides to ensure accuracy. Perform quality checks during runs to verify registration, glue adhesion, and film placement. Production & Quality Run jobs at target speeds while maintaining quality standards. Inspect product for defects such as misaligned windows, glue overflow, scratches, or wrinkles in film. Complete all production and quality documentation, recording counts, downtime, and waste. Collaborate with quality control and finishing teams to resolve issues quickly. Maintenance & Safety Perform routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement. Troubleshoot and correct minor mechanical or electrical issues to keep production moving. Follow all plant safety protocols, including lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and housekeeping. Teamwork & Communication Work with feeders, packers, and helpers to maximize machine efficiency. Communicate with supervisors about production status, material needs, and mechanical issues. Support training of apprentices or new team members when needed. About You: You're a fit for the role of Finishing Window Machine Operator, if your background includes: Experience operating finishing/packaging machinery, preferably in folding cartons or printing/packaging. Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform setups, adjustments, and light maintenance. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret job tickets, work orders, and quality specifications. Basic math and measurement skills. Preferred: Experience on windowing machines. Operator is responsible for accurate layout and physical coordination of plumbing and HVAC points, equipment points, sleeves, and inserts as needed to maintain progress and or productivity on all types of construction sites.

The neck-down operator will set up and operate machinery that forms the neck or shoulder of the can determined by customer specifications. In addition to operating machinery, the neck-down operator will champion the packaging process of the aluminum cans for customers. Job Duties: Read blueprints and can drawings to determine job specifications and tooling. Set up and operate all neck-down equipment. Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on neck-down related equipment. Observe machine operations to detect machine faults and make adjustments necessary for the line. Communication with fellow operators to update on production. Perform routine quality checks and record findings to ensure cans are meeting job specifications. Proficiently perform changeovers and production of aluminum containers to the specifications set by the customer. Stack finished items for further processing or shipment. Authority to stop and/or modify work processes due to non-conformance and/or unsafe working conditions. Report all potential food safety concerns to the quality assurance manager. Perform all other job duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Basic computer skills. The ability to see details at close range.
