Steve began his VF career with The North Facein 1999 and shortly afterward was promoted to Vice President of Sales, where he worked to reshape the business' sales organization, product and marketing strategies, and go-to-market model. Before joining The North Face,Steve held leading sales management roles at Youngone Corporation and at W.L. Gore and Associates. Steve serves on the Board of Directors of the Retail Industry Leaders Association, as well as the Board of Directors of Advanced Functional Fabrics of America, Inc., an organization working to enable a manufacturing-based approach to transform traditional fibers, yarns and fabrics into highly sophisticated, integrated, and networked devices and systems. He is a founding board member of the Outdoor Industry's Outdoor Foundation and also has served in an advisory capacity to Bainbridge Graduate Institute where he provided insight into its creation of a Master of Business Administration program with a focused concentration on sustainability.
