Job Summary The Retail Lead (RL) is essential in leading assigned areas and processes in communicating, and executing all aspects of daily retail operations. Mentor and responsible to ensure product knowledge and compliance with regulations dispensary. Promote positive customer experiences through professional and policy-driven problem resolution. Stay informed on industry regulations and best practices, training staff as necessary. Support in communication and execution of daily and weekly staffing and scheduling in alignment with Retail Manager guidance and processes. Ensure performance and smooth daily store operations, including timely communication and a positive example. Ensure professional communication with leadership, staff, and customers for seamless operations. Support store leadership in execution of marketing plans, promotions, and product displays across locations. Drive sales performance in alignment with marketing initiatives and events. Execute and support security protocols to safeguard employees, customers, and inventory always. Counter diversion by effectively remaining vigilant through integrity and leadership communicating any issues to Retail Management. Support, plan, and execute cleaning, supply management, and staff protocols. Support internal inventory in maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing shrinkage, and drive lean efficiency in execution of internal inventory management. Ensure compliance with DCC rules and regulations in all customer interactions and store activities. Report any issues or challenges promptly to the Retail Manager and leadership. Qualifications Minimum of High School Diploma Prefer associate's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail with some management experience preferred. Prefer applicable leadership experience and team management skills. Coachable team player and critical thinker. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Physical Requirements At least 21 years of age. The ability to lift 75 pounds regularly. The ability to respond quickly to sounds. The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations. The ability to wear personal protective equipment properly.
