Completion of state or nationally recognized Peer Recovery Support Specialist Certification training with a minimum of 40 hours total in the following domains: Ethics, Advocacy, Mentoring/Education, and Recovery/Wellness Planning. If the certification obtained required fewer than 40 hours, documentation of additional Continuing Education Units (CEUs) earned can be provided to meet the training hour requirement prior to onboarding. 3.
