    Reports to: Clinic Director ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: 32 to 40 hours weekly, 8 Hours shifts The clinic receptionist performs clerical, receptionist and scheduling duties, as well as provides assistance with the staff of CRMC with the overall functioning of the clinic. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone. * Answers the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette. * Checks in patients for appointments. * Registers new patients, providing them with registration forms and instructions as needed. * Verifies and updates existing patient demographics each visit by collecting detailed patient information including personal and insurance information * Schedules patient appointments according to guidelines. * Assists with the collection of copays and other account payments. * Creates and sends patient letters * Assists with scanning or filing of documentation in patient charts as needed. * Receives, faxes or distributes information to the desired patient or correspondent, including internal departments of the hospital.
