Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level. Promotions are at the discretion of the agency.

Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
Enforcing the laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping to and from the United States.
Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats and perform risk assessments for violations of laws and threats to national security.

Participates in developing an annual operating budget which includes production volume and capital improvements
Responsible for managing costs and production to meet or exceed production budgets
Responsible for tracking and reporting key performance indicators (tons per operating hour, uptime, delays, mobile fuel consumption, electrical consumption, drilling and blasting cost)
Quality Control:
Maintains all production to meet state and customer requirements
Manages quality control personnel activities in coordination with quality control manager
Works with sales team to identify and resolve any customer quality issues
Innovation:
Utilizes plant production data to identify opportunities to optimize plant and equipment
Works with engineering team to develop long term capital replacement needs
Works with sales team to identify new product opportunities for customers
Works to identify cost saving/continuous improvement activities to improve operating efficiency
Community/Personal:
Utilizes appropriate resources and recommendations in community relations and legislative efforts and actively participates in the area's community outreach and educational programs

POSITION OVERVIEW
Sets up and operates internal grinding machines to perform the grinding operations necessary to produce finished parts to specified print tolerances.
JOB DESCRIPTION (Key Responsibilities)
Perform all work elements to make any setup or reset in the machine group. Set-ups may include removing and installing support rolls; indicating, removing, and installing pressure rolls; installing spindles; changing motor pulleys; and changing and adjusting diamond roll dresser. Also, will install one motor block to drive the grinding wheel to dress the drive roll and a second motor block to drive the grinding wheel for bearing components. Changing, grinding, and adjusting jaws on the chuck work-head. Changing, and grinding backing plates. Setting, and adjusting shoe and shoe holder.
During the time required to complete a machine setup, the operator will attend the running machines in the group at regular intervals.
Operates multiple machines simultaneously. Manually loads all units with parts and removes parts from unloading trays.
Uses a limited variety of gauges, such as air, mechanical, plug, and runout, to inspect parts running on all units. SPC data charting as required.
Must be able to read prints.
Gauges a high percentage of finished parts and makes machine adjustments accordingly to maintain specified print tolerances. Gauging pertains to controlling size, taper, runout, etc.
Changes grinding wheels and turns diamond when necessary.
Keeps machinery and work area clean and orderly. Completes required paperwork.
Performs miscellaneous related duties such as material handling, clerical reporting, and machine lubrication.
Perform first piece approval, per set up approval-process.
Operates precision measuring equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Community Navigator serves as a field-based resource who meets individuals and families where they are in their neighborhoods, community spaces, and at outreach events. This role focuses on connecting people to behavioral health services, social supports, and community resources, while reducing barriers to care. The Community Navigator provides direct assistance with benefits and entitlements, social determinants of health (SDOH) resources, and mental health/substance use disorder (MH/SUD) needs. This position conducts targeted outreach to veterans, Miami Indians, residents of housing projects, and other community groups while also engaging in general outreach and education efforts across the service area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct field-based outreach to connect with individuals in community settings, including housing projects, veteran groups, schools, and local events.
Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' needs and resources to determine the best course of action.
Act as a liaison between individuals and community resources, such as healthcare providers, government agencies, and non-profits.
Serve as a visible and approachable presence at community events, community meetings, and gatherings to share resources and strengthen partnerships.
Provide on-site navigation support, including screening for MH/SUD needs and linking individuals to appropriate services.
Assist individuals with enrollment in benefits and entitlements (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP, disability supports) and connect them to SDOH resources (housing, food, transportation, utilities, etc.).
Collaborate with local organizations, tribal representatives, and veteran groups to address unique needs and expand access to care.
Working knowledge of community resources.
Develop contact and resource lists for communities.
Follow up with clients in the field to ensure successful connection to services and address barriers that may arise.
Maintain strong, proactive communication with internal staff and community partners to coordinate care and referrals.
Document all outreach contacts, referrals, and follow-up outcomes in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
Respond to stakeholder communications within 24 hours of receipt.
Meet assigned productivity and outreach goals.
The Community Navigator position is non-clinical and does not involve the provision of direct care services.
The Community Navigator will not access or enter documentation into the agency's electronic health record system.

Wastequip's Galbreath division has a great opportunity for a Welder Specialist in our Winamac IN location. The Specialist Welds metal parts with MIG welding equipment as specified by layout, jigs, or prints. The welder will also do basic electric and hydraulics while building the trailers.

Responsibilities
Positions parts in jigs or fixtures on bench or floor, or clamps parts together along layout marks.
Lays out, positions, and tack welds work pieces.
Welds along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines.
Connects regulator valves to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders for cutting torch. Turns regulator valves to activate flow of gases, lights torch, and adjusts gas mixture and pressure to obtain desired flame. Holds & guides torch at proper angle to cut metal.
Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.
Scarfs or grooves welds and parts.
Chips or grinds off excess weld, slag, or splatter.
Mechanical: Use of hand tools & power tools are necessary to performs hoist installation.
Mig Weld along vertical & horizontal weld lines and examine welds for bead size and other specifications. This also includes torch set up & use.
